Could I get some additional questions answered?

If it is not a problem to anyone, there are some questions that I have about the series that are not about the time-travelling, which is my biggest concern, but there are some other detailed questions that I would like to be answered, if it is possible, and if anyone knows.

Please note that some of these questions are about things that I only vaguely remember, so I would appreciate any corrections for possible misunderstandings.

1. When 'Repliku' was defeated, what happened to him? Because he seemingly did not share any of his memories with those of the real Riku, then I suppose this means that his heart would not go into Riku's body when he 'died'. Did any part of 'Repliku' go into Riku, then?

2. When Riku's heart was forced out of his body by Ansem SoD, it seems that it went to the realm of darkness that was behind the door to darkness. I understand that hearts reunite with bodies when they are freed, so when Ansem SoD was defeated, does this mean that it works vice-versa as well, so Riku's body homed in on his heart? I understand that the possibility of Riku having a Nobody has been ruled out.

3. How did Riku and Mickey get out of the RoD so quickly, how did Riku end up in the basement of Castle Oblivion, and why were they separated when Riku started traversing through Castle Oblivion? It is not very clear to me.

4. Is there an explanation for exactly what created Namine? Was it Kairi's heart going into Sora at the beginning, Sora using the KoPH on himself, or Kairi giving Sora a PPS?

5. This is a slightly trivial point that has bothered me greatly-when Axel tried to defeat Roxas on the last day of him being in the virtual Twilight Town, they were in the virtual place first, correct? When Roxas was shown fusing with Sora at the end of the prologue, was he still in the virtual world, or was he in the real Twilight Town? It does not seem to make sense if he was still in the virtual world.

6. Is Sora undergoing Cerebus Syndrome? (Actually, never mind that...).

7. Is it true that YX was seen as an unknown figure in BBS?

8. In DDD, when there was some sort of enemy that looked like an organization XIII member's body with distinctive red eyes, where did it come from, and how did it get there?

9. What is the explanation for the AVN? The way I understand it, it was Ventus' heart trying to protect Sora, but because it had been possessed by darkness, it was defending Sora for the wrong reason. Is this correct?

10. In BBS, when Aqua is about to be attacked by several giant heartless in the RoD, the keyblades of Terra and Ventus appear to defeat them. How on earth did this happen?

11. Is there an explanation for why dream versions of Ansem the Wise, Xion, Ventus and Roxas were seen when Riku entered Sora's body? I understand that the reason for the latter three is probably because their hearts are inside Sora, but did Ansem the Wise pre-arrange a version of himself to deliver the data to Riku? If this did not happen, then how else could the data have come out of Sora?

12. Was 'Terranort' ending up in Radient Garden after the disappearance of the real Kingdom Hearts part of his plan?

13. If Aqua had not 'saved' Terra-Xehanort, and he had fallen into the realm of darkness, what would have happened? Because Master Xehanort was then in control, how would he have gotten out?

14. Was Terra-Xehanort's temporary memory loss real, and if it was, then what caused it?

15. Is there an explanation of how long it takes for a being to reform once their Heartless (and Nobody, in some cases) is defeated?

I think that most of my confusion about the series stems from the fact that a lot of things have not happened more than once, and so this makes some concepts difficult to understand. Maybe some of these points are not even essential about whether or not I found out their answers, but otherwise I simply cannot stop thinking about them. There is even a high chance that any answers to these questions that I might get will confuse me further.

Any help would be appreciated. I will appreciate any efforts that people give.

Continuing on with our user-submitted editorials is one by none other than ffx_fanatic1405 as she takes us on a journey through her life with KINGDOM HEARTS and how it's influenced her then and now!

So, it's NOSTALGIA MONTH! So that means, it's time to remember of the awesome days we had when we first got into Kingdom Hearts! We are now at the end of the road… sort of. Square Enix has come out with KINGDOM HEARTS -HD 1.5 ReMIX- in Japan and it won’t be long before it’s here in North America. For me, it means two things; one, I get to play my favorite game for years to come and have my PS3 hogged by my niece and nephew constantly when I get it and two, the end is almost near. By the end I mean KINGDOM HEARTS III, because we all know after that game, the series won’t come to an end, but an arc. The Xehanort Saga is what the current arc we have is called, all the games that have been released so far is that saga. After that… who knows? We don’t know what the next story will be or what’s going to happen, but what do we know is that a new era is coming and it’ll be something new, unknown. For me, when something is coming to an end, I like to go back and look at my past; to see how I come so far. It’s been 10 years for me with this series, and the way I started with these games is the first games I ever beaten on my own.

I bought KINGDOM HEARTS on a whim, thanks to my brother for leaving me poor games for the PlayStation 2. My older brother decided to leave home and I was now an only child, lonely. So because I was saddened with the lack of sibling, my parents decided to buy me a present. When asked what I wanted, I decided to get a game to call my own. While I was really good at Tekken and loved Need for Speed, I wanted something different to play.

So for three days straight, we went to Target to look for a game. Each day I would pass the glass displays and kept looking and looking for that game, but none would catch my eye. But there was one that kept getting my attention without me wanting to. This game was outside the glass displays, and was on sale. It had an interesting cover; I saw two iconic characters that I seen all my life, but with three kids looking at a heart shaped moon. While it seemed interesting, I kept dismissing it because of it was Disney… thinking it was too childish. So for three days I kept passing Kingdom Hearts, catching my eye and I ignoring its call. But soon that call kept bothering me… I didn’t know why, but I had to buy it. So on the third day, Kingdom Hearts and I were on our way home. The first thing that I thought when I started a new game was… is this kid a girl? But after I heard the first dialogue between him and Kairi, I quickly found the answer.

The reason why I find the series endearing to me is because it helped on my saddest days and happiest days in my life. I was often bullied because I was shy and quiet, but after I got these games, I changed and soon went to high school, as such it helped me overcome all the challenges I had coming to me in my freshman year. It made me realize who I was and who my friends were:
I was in high school; I was hanging with a bad crowd. I wanted to feel like I belonged, so I would dress like they would and try to like the same music. But for them I was an easy target, I was really quiet and innocent, so they would kick me, hit me, call me names... it was horrible but I endured it for freshman year. I didn't have the guts to leave the group, since it was the only people I talked to in school.

While the year went on, I played KINGDOM HEARTS II. I was going through it and remember that once I finished the game, how connected all the characters were. Sora, Riku and Kairi didn't treat each other like dirt, they treated themselves with respect, and they loved each other. They went through so much, yet they're friendship continued on. At that moment, I realized who my friends were. So the next week, I told off the kids, told them that I wasn't going to be treated this way anymore; we cursed at each other and left it that way. I lost the only people I talked to, but I was free.

Now the next thing was, what do I do next? Here I was no group or clique to belong to. I didn't have anyone to tell me what to do anymore... I was free. So what I do? I went shopping, dressed the way I wanted to and talked to who I wanted to. Soon by my senior year, I was in no clique; I was on my own and liked it. The only person left I talk to from that old group is a friend, and she felt sorry on what she did to me, so we became good friends. Kingdom Hearts helped me find out who were my true friends, the friends that I would still keep after all these years, that I still hang out now as adults. It made me the person I am today and for that I am grateful.

And now, here I am; 22 years old and college student, I’m almost at the end of my education and soon I’ll be headed in the real world. What that means to me is, less time to play video games. Even now, as I write this, I haven’t had time to play anything. My attention has changed a lot over the years, a game that I would find fun and kept playing for hours, changed to just play for a while, and then go do something else that would acquire my attention. To sum it all up, I’m feeling my age. Soon, this new game will come and I’ll play it, but what does that mean after this arc? Will I want to play? Will it still call my attention? I’m a bit scared on those answers, because denying the one thing that I hold close to my heart, means that I’m getting rid of the last thing I had as an innocent child. Then comes the thought to you, dear readers; are we getting too old for the games? I mean some of us have grown with the games… spent our adolescence with the games. Is it time for us to say good bye? I don’t think so, I think as long as you enjoy something and you don’t feel tired of it, keep going at it. Just because some of us are feeling our age, doesn’t mean others will.

So I say; keep playing you guys! And for us who have given up, don’t forget the game you enjoyed! As for me, I feel that after KH3, I'll be stopping the series, but it depends if the next game is okay and not a fanfic idea come to life. (No offense to any fanfic authors, I'm one myself.) But while I may leave the series, it doesn't mean the love I have for it in my heart will disappear. It will always be with me and I will have it for the rest of my life. Because for me Kingdom Hearts isn't just a game, it's a life changer. But needless to say, my answer shall stay the same until I know what’s up to come from Nomura: I will keep playing. Nomura has kept me on a string since Kingdom Hearts II, pulling me to keep playing just to know what’s going on with the story and when Kingdom Hearts III will come out. All he accomplished was having a very confused and doubtful fan. All I ranted was that he was just pulling things out of his arse, and while he assured us that he planned this from the beginning, I’m still a bit skeptical.

But It doesn't mean it wasn't good, oh no. Whatever the reason, no matter how confusing the plot was getting, I was already hooked to the story, I kept on buying and playing all the games up to this point. (Except coded). And I have so many memories of the series, so many which have made me what I am today. If it wasn't for Kingdom Hearts, I wouldn't have made any friends. I made friends because the bond between the main characters and the lessons they bring is, while a bit cliché, friendship and teamwork shown as important, it something I like and makes me feel like a kid inside. Because of this I felt that friendships are worth. But while the themes were important the story and amazing characters were what kept me going, the beautiful worlds and the awesome gameplay that while frustrated me in the beginning (The camera in Kingdom Hearts), still kept me entertained to this day. The thought of going to different places that bring nostalgia made me happy, especially when you’re traveling with your favorite Disney characters. The feeling of accomplishment at the end, that you are the reason why Sora got to the point he is, because you guided him to it.

Thus I end this editorial but I will end this with a thought, do you guys think we, the fans that have grown with the series, are getting too old for them? And also, what are your fondest memories with Kingdom Hearts? When you first got it?

We've all hopes that Kingdom Hearts -HD 2.5 ReMIX- will be announced soon, and we all know what game we'll probably start out on. What has you most excited about the collection, though? Are you excited to finally be able to fight Lingering Sentiment? Use Limit Form with dodge roll? The Secret Episode in BBS?

I know I am so excited to just have a better camera in BBS, and being able to see all of the additional scenes in KH2FM.

Should I be here?

Honestly, becoming a member of this forum was something that I was not sure about from the start. I thought that it would be better if I browsed on this forum whenever I would use it, but because I had (and still have) so many questions, and because I could not use the search feature without making an account, these were the main reasons for why I joined.

In the surprisingly small space of time that I have used this forum, I have done a lot... Voiced my opinions, ask questions series and forum-related, and said some stupid things that I have been punished for and regretted.

I feel that I have made too many mistakes on this forum. My time on this forum has been a disaster from the start, really... Apart from the first few posts asking about Ventus' heart going into Roxas, if I remember correctly, my debut in the forum really came in a debate about why Disney impedes the Kingdom Hearts series. While I only have one regret that I can think of from that period (apart from the fact that the first of these two threads went humiliatingly off-topic), gaining my title in this forum as being 'the person who hates Disney' was not a good place to start.

As I have become more accustomed to this forum, I have unfortunately altered my role of asking series-based questions several times, and more than once I have said something that I regret or did not put thought into, which results in my punishments. I have made several debates, which more than one person has labelled as 'trolling', which is never intended. I never plan to make my discussions as bad as they are.

I have caused offence too many times and said bad things, and because it seems so difficult to control this at times, I feel like I am a poison to this forum. I never mean to cause offence, and I never want to be under odium. I just want to be thought of as a regular, tolerable member. The point of this is, should I really keep using this forum, or would it be wiser not to?

What I think about Disney's involvement in Kingdom Hearts

Because the two threads that were about this subject are dead, and because there is no point in reviving the one that has not been closed, I am going to vent my frustration here, because I feel like writing something, and too many people would get upset with me if it was in the "Future of Kingdom Hearts" section (on that note, I really hope that this does not get moved).

Well, I must say, this is... Inexcusable! To suggest that you should make such a horrid combination like this and let the cheery part spoil the dark part, make the cheery part pointless unimportant filler but include it anyway, and make very few of the FF characters make appearances is reprehensible at best! I condemn Disney for doing this, and spoiling what could otherwise be a gem of a franchise, and I demand that they explain themselves! I await, their rebuttal!

Am I going to be banned now? Does this count as 'hateful material'?

With all seriousness, Disney is what attracted me to the franchise in the first place. Though I know that the removal of most Disney characters legitimately cannot happen (unfortunately), the point is that they should have kept Disney out of the mix in the first place, to keep morons like me out of places like this forum.

Okay, I've played KH3D dozens of times, read interviews and forums, and I finally feel confident on KH3D's story, except for a some points if anyone could help:

1. Okay, I get that Ansem Seeker of Darkness went into the past to meet Young Xehanort, but when? Did he do it right when Apprentice Xehanort split into Heartless & Nobody, or some other point in time?

2. Ansem SoD gave Young Xehanort the ability to time travel, but what did he do then? Did he lose the ability to time travel and stayed at Destiny Islands until the events of KH1?

3. Xigbar says that "...we hijacked your little slumber party before it started...", how so? Sora and Riku did pretty much what they were going to do anyway up until they went to TWTNW, so how were they "hijacked" so to speak?

4. I understand why all those at the end returned to their proper places in the timeline, but... why then at that moment? The New Organization XIII had Sora & Company in their clutches, and they left? It seems rather problematic to have an army that can disappear at any moment without notice.

5. I get the importance of the numbers (7 Light, 13 Darkness), but confused on the Light portions. To make the X-Blade, you need 13 pieces of PURE DARKNESS and 7 pieces of PURE LIGHT, right? Though Sora & company are the good guys, it's been stated many times they have darkness in them, so they can't be the pieces of Light, only the Princesses of Heart can. So why not just have an ARMY of people protecting the 7 Lights?

Vita Sound Problem?

Okay, so over the past couple of days I've been having sound issues with my vita. The other day, I was playing Disgaea, and all was well. I put it in sleep mode while I went and hung out with a friend, and when I returned back to it, there was no sound!

I tried to turn the sound up and down, and the Vita's volume meter was now grayed out, it was very strange. I inserted headphones, and all of a sudden the meter was up to about halfway (where I had it), and sound was coming through the earpiece. I could turn it up, down, and sideways, but when I removed the headphones, no sound again.

After about ten minutes of frustration, I removed the headphones and just started playing with no sound, a couple minutes later, the sound started working again. Yay! It didn't last long before it disappeared again.

I checked the settings, I turned it on and off, none of the simple jazz worked. I wondered if maybe water got in the speakers somehow (happened to a tv once), so I set it in front of a fan, and it started working again after maybe ten minutes. It then worked the rest of the night, and during my break at work. I got home today, played a little bit, and it quit again!

I looked it up on the internet, and found several people had this issue with psp's, some of them fixed it with odd ideas, some of them never did. I tried every solution on my Vita to no avail. I never found anybody stating they had this issue with their Vita though.

Going back to my water in the speakers idea, I blow dried them, and the sound started working again for a couple hours, but it quit working yet again and is still like that now. I can't see how the moisture would still be affecting it if it got wet days later after it had been fixed.

Any knowledge on this at all or similar experiences?

In November 2012 when GameTrailers' debuted their Timeline video series, the KINGDOM HEARTS community was astonished to discover the secret teaser at the end of the video. The series' iconic title theme, Dearly Beloved, softly played as the familiar Kingdom Key Keyblade was shown stood gleaming in the sunlight on a sandy beach. As the scene faded away, the words "SPRING 2013" appeared, and the community erupted in excitement.

Two weeks ago, they released a follow-up trailer showing off some iconic scenes and locales from the series thus far, further engaging their audience and attracting everyone's attention. Degraded Keyblades lay scattered across the once forgotten battleground of the Keyblade Graveyard, empty thrones loomed over within Where Nothing Gathers. The star-studded hat of sorcery calls out for its long-retired Master, and the tree bearing star-shaped fruit basks in the warm light of a setting sun. This proved one thing and one thing only; that this Timeline would not be anything like what we expected.

The success of their previous Legend of Zelda timeline made it clear that the upcoming video would be nothing short of incredible. Even in the face of doubt, the GameTrailers team put great care into making sure they would be able to do the series and its fans justice with spot-on accuracy in every single piece of information. After almost 6 months of waiting, we are finally able to witness this from beginning to end! With GameTrailers at the helm, let us take a walk down memory lane and line the pieces up in this broken chain.

Well a little about me: I live in Seattle and I do game testing for a living.

Why I'm Here: I love the Kingdom Hearts Series, ever since I got my PS2 kingdom Hearts
was the first game I played and loved it ever since.

What's new in my life: Well I just announced that me and a team of 4 so far are going to make
Kingdom Hearts 3 - fan Game which is going to be awesome!
