After the countless spin-offs and adaptations generated from L. Frank Baum's The Wizard of Oz, I think it's only natural that Oz-in one form or another-make its way into the Roleplaying section. It could not only contain content based off of the original novel, but all of the novels in the ridiculously long series (preferably those only written by Baum), and have a mixture of other themes and references thrown in as well. The vast amount of information and characters is staggering, as is the number of different directions it can be taken.

My own concept is that once Ozma, the true heiress of Oz, is discovered in the lands of the south (actual events in the series), it sparks a giant contest for power in Oz, the nation split between loyalty to the Scarecrow and to Ozma (a reference to the Russian Revolution). Scarecrow would be the head of a corrupt triumvirate between himself, Tin Man, and Lion, and Ozma would be aided by the extreme feminist Jinjur and the Frankenstein-esque Chopfyt. Several other characters could be catagorized according to their roles in the books, such as Tik-Tok, the clockwork man, who serves as the entire army of Oz. That could easily translate to a robotic army in my mind.

Anyways, I'd like to hear a bit of input; is this all rubbish, or does it have some merit?

Music is an important part of our world. It is a way to express ourselves, free ourselves and enjoy ourselves. But it is much more than that. In our world, music is the very core of our lives. We, a small group that live in this world, are known as Vocaloid, and we are considered to be many things. Many may consider us as 'personified music' and some less formally know us as 'music idols'. We live almost as a family, together in a small community outside of a large one. We range in ages, genders and just as humans, we have unique personalities and appearences. Some of us are blood related, some of us are romantically related. We are almost exactly as humans, except for our unbelievable beauty and talent. We are treated as celebrities, and bear the same job. We sing for the world and make others happy. Our music has powers that you wouldn't believe.
But.
There is a threat on the way. For whatever reason, there are Vocaloid unhappy with this life of making others happy. They enjoy using their music for evil. They enjoy inflicting pain on the humans, causing illnesses and emotional sadness. They use their musical powers for the worse, and we intend to stop them. We, the ones they used to call friends and family. We will use our power.

Plot and most of the setting in developement.

Oh em gee, is this a Vocaloid RP? Yes, yes it is! Good eye. I've decided to give it a go. This is a canon-only vocaloid roleplay, meaning we will only be RPing using the original Vocaloid characters, aswell as the more popular fanmade ones. Since the list is limited, those playing popular characters will be chosen strictly. This means not everyone will get the character they want. So you should have one or two back-up characters, just in case. You're allowed to have two characters, but only two characters, per person. We don't want one person taking a million canon characters and leave very little left for everyone else [I'm looking at YOU, Teny!].

The setting is on a fictional Earth, where these characters, the Vocaloid, have extraordinary musical powers to do things such as heal others, and also things such as causing pain. But musical talents aren't the only thing they have to fight with. They have certain "character items" that can be used as weapons. And some characters have everyday talents, such as martial arts, sports, drawing, playing instruments, ect.

The Vocaloid live in a gated community in their own houses with their siblings, and for the younger ones , a school house.

Pain...

What is pain?

is it a feeling of being injured, a confirmaton of being alive?

But I hate any kind of pain. Otherwise... I'll have to destroy...

Renn Gurski was just a regular kid before he found out that a spirit from the depths of hell had taken residence in his body...

And as usual... people make fun of him because he has no more friends.

"Hey MC Raunchy Renn!"

"I told you not to call me that otherwise I'll have to make fun of you back... MC Chubby Charles."

"Oh that is it! You asked for it!"

Charles was the common bully at school, and he was big compared to most of the students at Renn's high school... not just tall but "Phat" too...He charged at Renn and tried to punch him in the face.

Renn's eyes went from their regular Forest green to pure black and Renn caught Charles punch and started twisting his wrist back. His Black eyes pierced through Charles' brown eyes and looked into his soul.

"Boy, You're bigger than everyone but you're still afraid of people smaller than you? You astound me."

Renn wasn't the one who said that... it was the spirit that had possesed him... The spirit's name was Raven, The angel of hell. He pushed Charles back and said:

"Hell's fire... burn away the sin in his heart."

That was the day he found out that He was no longer normal. Charles was enveloped in flames but he survived the ordeal and he promised to never bully again. Renn found out that Raven, The spirit that had possesed him was sent to earth to exact justice on those who have made even the smallest sin.

Renn found out that Raven only comes out when he gets angry though, But the day that he hurt Charles was The day when Raven first possesed him.

(That is one of my evil character ideas, The next one is a lover's sample)

Renn was on the ground, Wrenching with emotional pain. He had recently heard that his last known family member had died of cancer... it was his sister. Renn had suffered so much pain over such a small span of his life. He was only 17 but he was living on his own since age 14 because his dad died in a car accident. His sister was always sick.. she was only 13 but last time he visited he over heard them that she wouldn't last the year.

Kira was walking to Renn's house to see if he was alright. Kira was one of Renn's closest friends since his father died and She invited Renn to live with her family until he was ready to leave... he stayed there until he was 16. Renn had suffered more pain than anyone could imagine, but that was what pushed him forward.

Kira walked in the door to his apartment and saw Renn curled up, holding the phone in his hands and saying: "It's impossible, It can't be."
Renn had no one left... His mother died when she gave birth to Kiki, His dad died in the Accident, and now his sister was dead. He couldn't ask any of his other family members could help because they lived too far away for Renn to travel. Kira looked into his Forest green eyes and tussled his brown hair.

"It'll be okay Renn, I'm here."

Renn uncurled and Kira helped him to put the phone on it's base and sat down with him on the couch.
"No one left, I'll have to move."

"No. You still have me and your other friends." She said.

"No you're the only one left."

"Why?"

"Steven and Elyssa are moving to California, Tyler is moving out to college in Vancouver and... My Grandma said she's picking me up tomorrow."

"Well let's try to make this a good last day."

Kira was the only girl that Renn had ever liked, Her hair was a blood red, offset by crystal blue eyes, and it always reminded him of that one memory... His dad took him fishing on a secret lake he knew about and the two of them watched the sunset together... The blue of the water and the red rays of the sun reminded him of her.

"Why don't you move in with me again? My dad said it would be all right."

"No... I don't want to..."

"Okay."

Kira moved next to him and said: "Renn, I think I might have feelings for you."

"Oh, I might be feeling the same way about you too Kira."

Renn turned on the T.V and asked:
"What movie do you want to watch?"

"Oh, I don't think I want to watch a movie."

"Oh, okay."

Then Kira just started blushing then she hugged him, She closed her eyes, and kissed him.
"Renn, I don't want you to go... With out you.. I'll never be happy again."

"Okay. But I'm not so sure as to how I'm going to break it to Grandma." Renn kissed her back and she fell on top of him while they made out.

"Let's take this to your room Renn."

"Okay, I see what you mean but we're only seventeen though."

"Who cares."

"Neither of us do."

Giant Heartless theory

I have a theory about Where the giant Heartless come from. That theory is they where originally the Hearts of worlds rather than individuals. The giant purebloods the result of the heart simply being the result of a natural opening of the door, exposing the world's heart to Darkness. And the giant Emblems the result of the door being forced open. Evidence supporting this theory are as follows.

The second Darkside Sora faces apears immediately after the heart of Destiny Islands had been overcome with Darkness.
The Princesses of Hearts used thier combined power to slow the Darkness that was consuming the heart of Hollow Bastion. Behind the door that was supposed to lead to the Heart, Sora meets his first Behemith.

By the way, only a few of the "giant Heartless" in Days are actually Giant Heartless.

I do not belive for a second that Vanitas is a clone of Ventus, but just for the heck of it I have to ask. Why is it that those who believe this theory don't even consider the reverse. That Ventus is a clone of Venitas.

I need help someone made me a signiture and avatar to match and now I can't get the avatar to work!The closest thing that has happened so far is it saying something about an uploading error due to writing or something like that.it's not just the one she made me it has also happened to every avatar i've tried to put up for use!Am I just doing something wrong?:cry:
