Same here - my gameplay time is just over 48 hours now. Dream Drop Distance is only 1% less addictive than Birth By Sleep (I was seriously obsessed with the latter for a good couple of years!).

nar its pretty good though
my crit file is currently clocked at 80+ hours. only affinity trophy left!
I thought BBS was better but damn, I want my 3DS back! it's on reparation because it has the most fragile r button ever

I haven't decided yet. It's at least tied with Chain of Memories and Birth by Sleep for my favorite game though.
I say it's my favorite 3DS game. That's a lot when compared to some of the games out there. It's second overall, losing only to Birth By Sleep :3

I want Larxene's somebody...
On Topic: Birth by Sleep was my favourite game for a long time - until I played a bit of KH3D to be exact :P Sadly I can't play it all day. Kinda busy with life and The World Ends With You. Thank you KH3D, for showing me such an awesome game.

Spoiler: KH3D Spoiler
There are many worlds - but they all share the same sky - One sky, one destiny.
I don't know how the explain it.
This is the first KH game that I've enjoyed more than KH1. In terms of quality, I think it's the best thus far. It's really a solid game.
Now, as my favorite game ever? I wouldn't say that. KH1 holds that spot forever because of all the nostalgia.
The Kingdom Hearts series is one of my top 5 videogame series but none of the games individually holds a spot. Does that makes sense? I kind of love the whole picture but the games itselves all have little (or great) flaws. Anyway, inside the series I think this one is as good as BBS which is my favorite. But favourite games overall are still Metal Gear Solid 2/Mother 2&3/Majora's Mask.

THIS! One of the many things I loved about Kingdom Hearts 3D is that the whole series suddenly made sense. Certain "plotholes" we pointed out in KH2, COM, and so on are now filled and make perfect sense. It's almost as if Nomura planned the whole series after all (I know he didn't, but dang this game did a good job connecting everything together)
With that said, yes, Kingdom Hearts 3D has actually become my favorite Kingdom Hearts game. Is it my favorite video game of all time? Well, I don't know, it's one of those things that's hard to think of. It's like when people ask "what's your favorite movie?" It's downright impossible to narrow it down to one.
But I will happily say that Kingdom Hearts 3D is my favorite Kingdom Hearts game. The voice acting and writing was fantastic, the plot twists were unexpected (I'm SOOO glad that I was able to steer clear of spoilers because it was SO worth it coming into the game without knowing anything), the gameplay was great, just about everything was great.
I think it also brought back "the magic" that many felt was lost after Kingdom Hearts 1. I'll admit that there's a certain nostalgia around Kingdom Hearts 1... yet, I was able to gain that same "magical" nostalgia feeling while playing this game. A lot of it is because it truly is a 10th anniversary game. Down to the fact that you have all the previous forms of Xehanort come back and even in the scenes with...
I got excited for what I was going to see in each Disney world because I didn't really know what to expect since none of the worlds were returning worlds (well, some are but the world designs are so different that they feel brand new)Spoiler: MAJOR KH3D SPOILERS
I also loved the idea of having the tutorials skippable, or having flashbacks that you can choose to view or not, and then adding the chronicles for new players.
I pretty much love everything about this game. I literally have NO problem with this game right now. I mean, I'm sure I'll be able to find nitpicky complaints as time goes on, but right now I can say with all honesty that this is my favorite Kingdom Hearts game.

This is probably my favorite game of the series so far next to Chain of Memories. I will say, though, that I just could not play for long periods of time with this game. Not sure why...
"Memories are forgotten, but never lost."
Definitely. I was actually torn between this and Birth by Sleep but 3D was just incredible by far in story by answering long awaited questions and gameplay wise!

I love the gameplay of this game; it's fantastic. It feels like the perfect next step for the series, in terms of flowmotion and reality shifts. I might still favor BbS's command melding and command styles over DDD's flowmotion and Dream Eaters, but both are fantastic systems, and I would like to see elements of both in KH3.
However the story was a huge turn-off for me, and it was one of the main reasons I got the game. Nothing plot relevant happens for the vast majority of the game, nothing is explained well (It took forever to figure out exactly where Sora and Riku were and I still don't know how they got there), and the contrived plot twists are not set up for at all. Come on, time travel? You never once mentioned that that was possible, and you had the entire game of nothing happening to drop a couple mentions of it.. Plus I was not a fan of the constant flashbacks.
Still, even though it's not my favorite, I like it quite a bit.

I would say that 3D is right behind KH1 for me. I enjoyed it more than KH2 and I think it has vastly improved on everything that was in BbS. It is definitely one of the best experiences I have had with a KH game.

Yea, I honestly believe its my favorite game right now or at least in the 3DS. However, I have to say that the final boss fight is my absolute favorite REWIND!!!
