Xehanort's many forms... (for those that are confused about what's going on)

Okay so a lot of people are confused about the new organization and the whole time travel thing, here's what's going on with it all...

First, the many forms of Xehanort that show up in DDD are legitimate and real, crazy right? Well, sort of...

What happened was YMX (Young Master Xehanort), Master Xehanort in his youth cast aside his body so that he could gain the ability to time travel... Now when a person travels through time via this method, they can only go one direction (forward in time, or backwards in time) and after so long they return to their own time

Now, without going into too much detail on the "time travel" thing, within the KH Universe, you cannot change the events of the past (at least through this form of time travel) So all the forms of Xehanort we see that have existed at different points in time are all from the same timeline...

Now, to explain where and why and about all his forms that appear within the game...

- Young Master Xehanort: Young Master Xehanort (YMX) is the most critical part of Master Xehanort's plans for the "13 Darknesses", what he does is (since he can travel through time) is travel towards the present, picking up the other incarnations of Xehanort along the way (forms that cannot exist in the present)

YMX is simply Master Xehanort in his youth, the fact that he existed before all the other incarnations of Xehanort allows him to do exactly what I described above

- Ansem, Seeker of Darkness: No, Ansem was not revived, nor was he somehow spared of his doomed fate by opening that door... What happened was at some point YMX picked him up on his journey to the future before being defeated by Sora... Whether Ansem remembers traveling to the future or not isn't clear, but he eventually returns to his own time to be defeated by Sora

- Xemnas: Same thing as Ansem, PLUS! Xemnas grew his own 'Nortified heart, something that holds some significance that I'll expand upon here in a bit

- Master Xehanort: Yen Sid said something along the lines of "Since Xehanort's Nobody and Heartless have been destroyed, Xehanort will return"... The Master Xehanort that shows up in DDD however isn't the Terranort/Apprentice Xehanort that we remember creating those heartless...

Here's where a bit of the confusion comes into play, The Master Xehanort in DDD isn't from the past like many of the other Xehanorts, he is from the present. Which means that Terra is back as well, and that Xehanort has left his refuge in Terra's body

- NeoTerranort: Yeah, Terra has obviously come back but why is he still under Xehanort's control if Xehanort left his body? Remember how Xemnas grew a heart? That heart he grew was a pretty strong 'nortified heart. When Terranort's Heartless and Nobody were defeated, all of the components of both fused back together... At this point we have a "NeoTerranort" the difference being the addition of Xemnas's heart... With Xemnas's heart in place, Xehanort could leave Terra's body while still controlling him. (Oh, and I forgot to mention... This "NeoTerranort" is from the exact same point in time as Master Xehanort)

- Other Members: Ah yes, Xigbar and Saix, they bear the names they bore as nobodies, but all evidence seems to point towards the fact that they too have returned as somebodies. The reason behind them going by their Nobody names is simple: To show their loyalty to Xehanort

Not entirely in agreement about the Master Xehanort business in relation to Terra yet, but yeah, all the incarnations of Xehanort are pulled through time to that one meeting.

They all, after that meeting, lose their memories of any time-traveled events until KH3, where they will return to face seven lights and forge the complete X-Blade.

Man I haven't posted here in ages..! Well about time-travel, kh3 (hopefully the next game to come out) will have a major part with it. Only proof i have that this is true is from one of the DDD trailers or secret ending(?), actually I think it was the secret ending. And it said near the end about "Reliving the past". So trying not jump to conclusions on this, but it seems like were gonna have tobattle all Xemnas's one last time in kh3. I wouldn't mind battling Asod's final form one last time again.

DDD was just for MX to complete his thirteen and plant the darkness SOOO when the next "keyblade war" is ready to happen YNX can just bring everyone back at once for the battle....before they disappear again.

Yeah, I understand that, which is why I said if possible. I wonder if any of our 7 lights will be willing to sacrifice themselves just to bring Terra back if they can. Is it restricted to just people of darkness who can do that?

No when sora released his heart he became a heartless. Roxas id come into existence but he had Ven's heart and Kairo brought back Sora from the darkness restoring him fully. We can say it is thanks to Vens and Kairis hearts that those 2 were able to coexist at the same time
