Isa/Saix

Okay, so I've been playing Kingdom Hearts II recently and I've just defeated Saix in the World That Never Was. One thing that he said stuck out for me which links in with Dream Drop Distance. I could be overthinking or even underthinking it but I feel it couldn't hurt to ask, so here it goes.

After defeating Saix, he says: "Kingdom Hearts... where is my heart"? As we see in DDD, Saix is a member of Xehanort's new Organization XIII or XIII Darknesses. If he knew that he wouldn't be getting a heart through Kingdom Hearts, why would he say this? Was this some kind of ruse to throw Sora of the scent of Xehanort or something else?

I'm not positive, but I think he wasn't in on the whole 13 darknesses thing until DDD.

I'm not too sure either, although he did have the pointed ears and yellow eyes meaning he had a connection to Xehanort. If he had already been chosen as one of the darknesses, surely he would be in on the plan with Xehanort and Braig?

I guess you could look at it that way, but when you think about it, Terra didn't have a choice. Perhaps the same theory could go with Isa.

Because he would know he's part Xehanort and wouldn't have much of a choice so changed his mind. I don't know

It's pretty possible that Isa's consciousness and will is already so much overwritten and subdued by the "Xehanort"-fragment inside him that he can't really oppose Xehanort that much anymore.

If anything, Saix's reaction in KH2 actually shows that he, despite being one of the "successful" XIII darknesses, wasn't into the whole plot and didn't knew all about the true purpose of the Org.
I even tend to assume that Xemnas and Xigbar were actually the only ones who knew the whole truth.

That's true and probably answers my question on why Isa didn't oppose about why he was being used like this in Where Nothing Gathers. Now I can understand where Axel has seen that Isa/Saix has changed: Xehanort. That would be pretty obvious from Dream Drop Distance, but the fact that he could be unwillingly used as a vessel for Xehanort could dictate that change. It could also answer the dramatic character change from Birth By Sleep to Kingdom Hearts 2, though Braig's personality hasn't really changed much at all.

Maybe because Braig knew about it the whole time and by knowing that his personality didn't change?

Thanks to good-ole Days we found out that Saix knew Xemnas didn't want KH to give the Nobodys their hearts back but to give himself godlike power. So Saix planed to betray him and use KH to get himself a heart. He DIDN'T know Xigbar's and Xemnas true intentions with KH and the Org and Xehanort. I belive in 3Ds Siax/Isa is on that side against his will.

It would explain why Lea's all freaked out when he sees him.

Question, did we ever find out why Zexion was older? Even if it's because he grew a heart, he still looks like he aged very fast.

Because he physically aged. So 9-11 years-old 10 years pass 19-21 years old.
