I just remembered what Riku's cartwheeling reminded me of. Vexen's, from 358/2 Days. Look that kupo up. identical.

He actually has TWO death scenes...

The first one, like you said, is in Riku's story, where Frollo falls off the balcony (willingly?) laughing madly, (like how Disney originally planned for Gaston to die in Beauty and the Beast?) and the second is the death he has in the original movie. (in Sora's story.)

At first, I was all, "WTF?!", but then I thought: Are Sora and Riku in two separate, PARALLEL versions of each world?
Two carbon copies of Frollo, Quazi, etc.? o_o

Joshua said something about "two worlds that are the same, but different." in Traverse Town, but I didn't know it applied to the Disney worlds as well.

It's pretty much this. What Sora does in one world doesn't effect Riku's story in the same world.

Frollo died twice, that's the big thing that proved that for me.
And Phoebus stayed in his Captain Uniform throughout all of Riku's story.

Then in The Grid, Riku goes through the movie plot while Sora goes through an original plot, in which CLU is after his Keyblade instead of Flynn's Disk.
In Sora's GRID story, Quorra never loses an arm.

Pretty much, Rinzler/TRON's death in Riku's story was when Riku kicked him off the bridge.
I really loved how they did his death scene in Sora's story though.


And the World Characters don't mention Sora in Riku's story, neither do they talk about Riku in Sora's story.
(At least in the Disney Worlds.....so far)

He just seemed to be okay with it in Riku's....but in Sora's (The movie plot) he never wanted to die......really different.


In Riku's though, I did like on how the Gargoyle fell just like Frollo did.
