Just so everyone knows; intelligence is not a measurable quantity. Even the most well-researched test on intelligence; the Alfred-Binet test, a.k.a the IQ test, has proven unreliable.

However, as it IS the most well-researched test, we COULD use its results as a reference. Moreover, the Alfred-Binet test works on a bell-curve; that is to say, a person with average intelligence in modern society should score about 100, and an person with above-average intelligence in modern society should score above 100, etc etc. Now, about the gender issue... boys have been shown to mostly dominate the extremes of IQ scores; that is to say, we score the highest and the lowest scores.

So who is smarter? I'll tell you. It's me xD

Oh, and one more thing... The highest score ever recorded is by Marilyn vos Savant ( i might have misspelt her name). Yes, to my fellow guys, a female has the highest IQ score. You can view her achievements on wikipedia.

the gender doesn't really matter... i think it depends on how well you raise and influence them. i think people tend to be smarter if you teach them in an early age.

Oh, that lady with the highest IQ in the world has only solved a bunch of puzzles, according to her wikipedia. A man would have done much more with that IQ.
