Male People: Thoughts On Make-Up?

Now, I know that some will probably be thinking "What the hell is this kid doing. . .", but I'm sure some of the guys here will be like "I see where he's going with this one, and I think I agree."

Make-up sucks. Yeah, I said it. I don't mean like, a bit of lipstick and a tiny bit of mascara is not bad. I'm talking about girls who go OVERBOARD with the stuff. I.E. Blood Red lips, eyelids that look like they're sleep-deprived, etc. I think that just makes them look totally unattractive. And wearing a lot of make-up seems to show a lack of self-confidence. Which is sad.

Remember, we're talking about physical attraction, and not personality-wise. They could wear a pound of the stuff, but be really nice. Y'know what I mean? Hope so. Because I know somebody like that.

Anyways, guy's, what are YOUR thoughts on make-up? Discuss this, because I really didn't know where I should put this.

It's SO awful, I never wear it. I've worn it about 8 times over the last 2 years and that was only eyeliner. I don't even wear it when going out.

The worst thing is foundation - why do people even smear that all over their faces? LIKE EW!

I don't know if it's self confidence though, I think I look worse in it.

Hmm. I personally think that if someone wants to wear make up, then there's no problem. If it makes someone feel more confident in themselves, then I think it's good for them.

I'm not a fan of lots of makeup, to be honest...

Its okay when I see girls who wear a bit of make-up, but when their faces are artificial and covered in make-up, it looks, dare I say, slutty.

It really depends. Too much make-up is just disturbing, as Massive stated.

I respect girls who don't wear any make-up; it shows their natural beauty and also tells you somewhat of their personality. Girls I know who wear make-up, however, can still be pretty with not too much on.

I wear makeup basically every time I go anywhere, ( mostly, not usually during the summer though unless I go to the movies and such ) but I never go overboard.

I wear blush and such, but just so I don't look horribly pale after waking up in the morning. Which I - on occasion - do. Unless I wear makeup.

But I do wear eyeshadow, eyeliner and such. Still, I dislike even the thought of looking all artificial. So I generally try not to put too much on.

Still, it does get a bit annoying if you a bit overboard.

I never liked make up. I think a lot of girls go through that stage of "oh! makeup!" and put loads on every morning, I did, then realized the hassle and it was ridiculous anyways.

A lot of girls put make up because they want to accentuate something, like their eyes. Many just put on mascara, maybe eye-liner, and a little lip gloss or something. I don't even do that really. Not even for a night out. Maybe some lip gloss or cover up, but beyond that, nah.

I do though for prom and homecoming, really big stuff like that. But not much though. I use stuff to cover up blemishes, eyeliner for accentuation, and other small stuff. I know some people that are really good with eye make up. She'll use different stuff, but it doesn't look horrible, it looks really good.

Overall, make up's used to cover blemishes sometimes. Got a big zit? Cover up really works. o-o

But a lot of girls look a lot prettier without it.

It depends. I put this in the nicest way possible, but some girls NEED to wear make up. I do think girls go a bit far on foundation. And by a bit I mean TOO far. It's not needed. And I hate it when girls like paint tears on their face. I really don't see the point.

make-up can look good on some girls but others its just too much. My girlfriend uses little to no makeup and di love it either way.

IMO, make-up can look really sexy on girls. They just need to keep it down, not too much. Sometimes there are girls that wear all this cream on their face so it looks brown or flat or something, but then you see can clearly see she's wearing all that cream and it's fugly. xD

Lip gloss I hate. Bleh, it feels so sticky... Seriously, kiss a girl who wears lip gloss and you dont know whats coming to ya. (The worst part is that girls that wear lip gloss go overboard with it. More, more more MORE MORE MORE MOOOOOOORE!!!!)

And then I'm like .

Lip gloss is awful with glasses and soda's and stuff. Let them drink a sip from your Coke, and then the whole bottle is filled with lipgloss. It's covered in sticky gloss... Eeeehl.... xP
