To be honest, I could do without it.
My dad is into all that technological stuff, and he just rolled his eyes at it, and when I asked him why, he said, "How will they be able to replace the batteries?"
I said "You charge it."
To which he replied, "And when the batteries go dead?"
So, there's his opinion, and for mine, well, it sure does have alot of bells and whistles, but I'm fine with having all that stuff separate. Don't have much anyway, but I bet that phone will make a great toy for a couple of years.

Oh, also, my aunt still has one of those really old cell phones, the really bulky kind, and it still works! But her ipod kinda died with its batteries and all, so, I dunno. It's wierd how her ipod gave out faster than that ol' cell phone...I wonder if the iphone is any better.

it's like 600 bucks for this new "revolutionary" phone w/ internet capabilities & youtube function right out of the box, a camera, movies, mp3's, text screen for (text messaging & internet searches), not to mention the touch screen...not to mention wifi capabilities

but at the same time the way Apple works I'm thinking they'll have a smaller version later on in like a year or two....

and theres no voice commands, blurry fingerprints making the screen difficult to see, the wifi (internet) doesn't work all the time, no taking video, no sending multi media messaging, & i'm not sure if it has Iming.....not to mention other bugs with it..

i just don't know if it's worth the money for 600 clams i think it might be better just to buy a Ps3 for that price and call it a day...

The iPhone is a piece of garbage. It runs off of the incredibly slow EDGE network, meaning 5 minutes page loads. Why they didn't give it a G3 network is beyond me.



Save your money for something that doesn't suck.

Although it's got AT&T networking they say it's still hard to connect

getting a phone just for on the go internet access seems kinda stupid, especially seeing as you can't really get the benefits that other phones provide....

I'm not sure though some stuff I've seen & heard about it just make it seem so awesome ><

Just wait a couple months. They'll have the second generation iPhone out.

That's what i said cause they did the same thing with the Ipod, everyone was all excited for it (though the video Ipod ish awesome), and later they came out with more & slimmer versions that completely outdo the original...

so if i go with my gut I'd say just wait, seeing as it'll only be about 6 months till they make a better slimmer version

Though it would be cool to have an iPhone, I really don't see why anyone needs it. You can go on a computer for much faster internet access; most people already have mp3 players of some sort; digital cameras aren't that expensive, nor are regular camera phones.

Honestly, there are already phones out there that can do all the things that the iPhone can... like the phone I already have, for example.

Well it looks cool it good some nice features, but look at it and just think, if it falls once its probably done. And Apple will make a smaller version in like probably half a year. Do i want one? No. Do i need one? No. I would rather stick with an original no big deal phone.
