| Twilight Knight | Went to my first sleepover at age 7-ish. Its harder to get your parents to let you go to sleepovers and parties when your younger. My parents used to say no for no reason what so ever when i was younger. Then when i hit about 14 and 1/2 my parents used to say yes all the time. Some parents just can't stand to see there children grow up. |

| I Do Phoenix. | I went to my first sleep over when I was 9. Your mother is probably afraid. Afraid that you'll be abducted. Afraid that something bad will happen at that house and she won't be there. If she's not friends with the parents, then she's probably a little weery of them. All in all, she's afraid for your safety. You're still a child. Living under her roof. Being raised. And she doesn't want anything happening to you. |

| Warrior of Light | i was about 6 or 7 for my 1st sleep over.. and since then just about every time i asked it'd be alright... just try to be serious and tell her that it'll be ok and you arent a little kid.. blah blah.. if she see's your really serious it might work |

Rep Power: 7 ![]() | I've never been to sleep over before, but it sounds like your mom is over protective, just like my momma. I remember once she wouldn't let me go in one of our neighbors' house while I was playing with their son, that was years ago, so she might not be that way now. |

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Well, mine was when I was either 6 or 7. I do not like sleepovers at other people's houses. Usually, the parents are either nasty, or the food is ery lousy. I have had a ton at my house though. I used to have them a lot for m birthday, and when we all went Christmas shopping. It was great. |

| Time In Perspective | I was eight for my first sleep over, but I grew out of them quick. The only sleep overs I have now are with a few friends or my girlfriend. You could try having your friend's mother of father speak with your mother. That's really about all you can do. |
