    My people's country are too busy being undignified by our current administration without doing shit against them. But before these years of sudden economical crisis, Christmas was magical. There was a Baby Jesus born reenactment in every major municipality and everyone was either at their house with their family or over there. Nowadays, they're just together at dinner time and go sit at their computers and text and stuff. =/

    My family has a big dinner on Christmas eve. we pray and hug each other when midnight hits. the 2 smallest children in our family carry the baby Jesus to a little altar and they put him next to Mary, and st Joseph. then we sing Christmas carols. then we end with a big gift exchange that we plan for like 3 months. pretty good times.

    Hell yeah I love Christmas and Halloween too! I love the decorations and displays for the most part, my mother has always done really well at decorating and making stuff, she's into that sorta stuff. Also I dig the nostalgia very much so. Idk my family doesn't really do anything, back in Wisconsin we'd go to her uncle's for Xmas Eve and some family would be there, but seeing as how I moved I'm placing my bets on that this year nothing happens.

    That's right, we gotta keep the Christ in Christmas (even though Jesus wasn't born then and Christmas in its origin is actually a pagan tradition but who cares!. Hmm I've noticed this trend, Christians are pretty good at claiming things that aren't theirs and then saying that it is theirs and changing it, noo offense Merry Christmas!)

    Considering I'm too atheistic to buy into the religious side of Christmas, and considering how much I dislike family gatherings, I have to say that my favourite part of Christmas is the presents. A million iTunes gift cards. That's cool with me, I guess.

    ^ I'm Jewish, and previously was agnostic, and I have never celebrated Christmas with the idea of Christ in mind. I don't think most people do.

    That's because Christmas, like Easter, has been bought out and has converted to the western religion of consumerism, materialism, commercialism, and capitalism.

    Yup, pretty much. I'm not Christian, but who can say no to free stuff?

    Christmas is a great opportunity for me to give personal/custom gifts to my family and friends. I dislike when people give out generic gifts like money and gift cards; it's nice, but doesn't capture the personal feeling of gift-giving. I want people to think I actually put thought into their presents so it means more to them.

    GIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIFTS. DELICIOUS FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD.

    That about sums up what I love about Christmas.
    And, oh yeah, the general ambiance that goes around everywhere. People genuinely seem nicer during that season, which is good. Even if it's something they only do subconsciously than by choice. I also like the imagery of people outside while clothed warm with a nice coat of snow, decorated trees and lights all over the streets, or just sitting at home with some hot chocolate milk and marshmallows in front of the fire place while watching one of the better Christmas movies/specials... The idea of making someone else happy with something considerate, some cheery songs...

    Yeah, ok, I'll admit. If I could live in christmas town, I would. ARE YOU HAPPY MY SECRET'S OUT NOW?! ;~;

    I love Christmas. My mom and I are Christians, but we don't celebrate it as a religious holiday. It used to be more about my mom and I spending time together since she'd be busy with work all year round. We don't celebrate it as much these days since we share space with my aunt and grandmother, so no room to put up a tree or anything...Well we could if we threw some junk out. Hm. Maybe we'll clean some junk up and see if we can set up a small tree.

    I'm excited for Christmas this year. I'm going to put more effort into giving other people gifts.

    my dad and i aren't religious, but my mother and sister are. that being said, none of us celebrate the holiday religiously; however, i do love getting into the spirit of giving, and i do my best to still make it feel like a special holiday even though i don't celebrate it because of christ and stuff.
