I'm not sure about Android cases, but I know that you won't find good durable cases for under $20. I went to Walmart to buy a cheap iPod Touch case but they were flimsy that they offered no protection. The only cheap cases I can think of are from those small kiosks/booths/shops at the mall but those seem really cheap in terms of quality.

Granted, I don't know why a piece of plastic retails for $24.99+ but go figure.

Yea I went to AT&T and they had two different cases, one was $40 and the other was $35, cant remember exact prices, and the guy said he could take off 20% so the lesser one would cost about $27 and I heard cases for phones are WAY cheaper so I didnt buy it and I looked on Amazon but the cases got poor reviews so idk.

True but its too much for me since I dont have that much money so I just got a $3 one and a screen protector for $3 off Amazon. If anything happens to the case or my phone I should have money to get a new cover or fix my phone by then since im pretty careful.

I'm looking for iOS case recommendations. I'm forced to buy a new one since my Quick Silver case is defective (it started chipping bit by bit). I prefer slider cases as the one I have now is a snap in case and it's also ruined my Zagg Invisibleshield. My go to cases are from Incase.

EDIT: Holy shit, why the hell are Slider cases so hard to find? I went to the Apple Store and they had nothing but snap on cases. Radioshack didn't even have slider cases either.

I wound up settling on an Otterbox Defender case. It's a snap on case too, but I was sold as soon as it was installed on my iPod. (It helped that a cute girl installed it hehehe). Anyway, it fits my iPod so snuggly and its super durable. It's really two cases. The main case is super solid, while the rubber case has rubber grippings, covers all ports, and makes it look like an iPhone. It's pretty legit.

Trying to jailbreak my iPhone 4 is AGGRAVATING. I updated to iOS 5.0.1 a few days ago, so I downloaded redsn0w_mac_0.9.10b6 and every time I boot it up, I get this message:

Incomplete iTunes libraries
Certain operations (like the A5 jailbreak) are disabled due to incomplete iTunes libraries. Please be sure the latest iTunes is installed.
Failed to load required function(s):
CFPropertyListCreateData
CFPropertyListCreateWithData

My current iTunes is version 10.6 and my iPhone's current version is 5.1, if it matters. I tried jailbreaking anyway and wound up restoring my phone to its factory settings. Has anyone else encountered this issue?

Alright, so I just got a Samsung Galaxy S II. Would have gotten the S III, but there was no way in hell I was gonna pay $300+ for that.

I originally came here for Android app recommendations but the pic that is on the first page of the thread is broken.

I'm also looking for Android wallpapers/lock screens. I don't want to use the same ones that I use on my iPod Touch.

It depends if you're on Gingerbread or Ice Cream Sandwich. If you're on Gingerbread, press and hold the home button and then press the power button. If you're using Ice Cream Sandwich, then you press the volume down and power button at the same time.

I don't have a Galaxy S2, so I had to google this. But on my Android phone, you just hold the power button and an option to take a screenshot comes up, so you could always try that...
