Ah, the 90s. I miss my childhood. When I was born, Kurt Cobain was alive (it really makes me feel old to say that). I feel like I'm stuck in the 90s still. I wear a lot of my mom's old flannel shirts and wear my old dresses as shirts sometimes, I just got through playing Mortal Kombat on my Sega Genesis and I still play my N64, I still watch the Power Rangers movie and the Mortal Kombat movie and Fight Club when I can, the main bands I listen to are Alice in Chains, Everclear, No Doubt, Nirvana, Stone Temple Pilots, Pearl Jam, etc. And of course I watch all of my old cartoons from the 90s! My mom thinks I'm so obsessed with the 90s because I'm going to college next year and she thinks that I don't handle change very well, but let's be reasonable here, the 90s were generally awesome!

Don't say "kurt cobain was still alive" because, dude, you were alive for what, two years before he shot himself? He was alive for a majority of the people on this board. That doesn't make your childhood "great" because you couldn't even consciously comprehend who he was or what he meant or whatever.

If you actually read what I said, I said that when I was born Kurt Cobain was alive and that it made me feel old. Because of the fact that Cobain was dead for the majority of my life is what makes me feel old when I think about the fact that he was alive when I was born. And since I already said it, there is no point in telling me not to say it. And never did I say that my childhood was "great" because of it. So maybe it would be best to read the post...or at least the part that you are commenting on...before you comment, "dude". And I didn't start listening to Nirvana until the 6th grade, which again makes it odd to me to look back on my life and realize that Kurt was alive when I was born. It doesn't make my life or childhood "great", it's something that I look back on and think that it's interesting. So relax.

I don't. I much prefer downloading videos on my 100Mbit broadband than on a shitty modem. It took me entire afternoons to download the first Silent Hill 2 trailers, back in the day. And that was when we were paying for internet connections by the hour.

But that's the charm of it D: That it was so bad that it left a memory.

I still remember our shitty internet. We had netscape (lol), and dial up. And I still remember that little gray box popping up asking for a username and password. Then the little phone connecting to the world logo. And THAT AWESOME BIIIIIIIG DIP DIP DIP BIDING BIDING.

It's like playing Kingdom Hearts 2. It sucks so bad, but it leaves a memory in your mind and that's it's charm.

That may be true, but you have to admit that it is significantly better than 80s fashion!

Back when nick and cartoon network (which for me was on 78 not 58) were awesome channels. I don't remember if YYH marathons on AS were 90s or not, but I miss that too. I miss thundercats as well.

The 90's for me, mostly brings back the memories of the years I fell victim to the boyband trend. -_-

Not really. I was ten when the 90's ended. Not much to miss.

I just miss the days when it wasn't trendy and cool to measure dick sizes by seeing who can list the most tv shows and useless crap from a dead age.
