| Member | I wish we had FES in the UK, or at least where I came from, it would have been so cool to meet a foreign person, particularly if they were Chinese or Japanese, oriental traditions and things really interest me :) |

| { No Life/No Death } | So you wanna know if ppl also think that Foreign Exchange students are awesome? I guess having been one myself with my Dad being in the Air Force and all, i'd have to say that the interest everyone has overseas is not as high as it is compared to American students. Okinawa, Japan was probably my only FES experience in exchange of the visits to our military schools, and as far as being considered interesting I had a lot of pictures taken with Japanese girls, and they found it incredibly fun when i put up the peace sign....so your not the only one, i'd say...unless you are directing the question specifically in America.. Rep Power: 4 ![]() ![]() Currently playing: Final Fantasy 12 Level: 24 EXP: | lol, thats awesome! SO basically its the same for whoever goes where. Thats basically how most people are to the foreign exchange students they ask them tons of questions. Actually my question to you is, if you were a FES, did you find it annoying when people asked you all kinds of questions? |

Rep Power: 4 ![]() ![]() Level: 31 EXP: | Foriegn exchange students? Hmm... The only time I met one was when I was 6 and in Elementary school. I can't even remember what country he came from but he was fun to hang around with. Being a first grader, we both went back and forth on questioning what our homes were like. Eh, memory's a bit hazy, but I think he ended up transferring to yet another school. =w= |

| rendez-vous à l'horloge, 1992. | Never done one, but my friend Sophie did one this summer. Her FES was a French girl called Magélie or something to that effect, and apparently, Magélie was a right bitch. Like, really childish, staying on the computer all the time & downloading loads of viruses & crap onto Sophie's computer. If I were to do an exchange programme, I'd check my student out because I wouldn't want to spend two or so weeks with someone I couldn't stand. Some people here actually ask me if I'm an FES. :/ |

| how annoying. | They're pretty okay but I like it when they're treated like idiots on the computers and are like "Yeah, thanks for your help because from my country all we had were sticks and rocks that we banged together. I sure don't know how to use the computer." ^actual statement from a german kid after being told how to open a program. scares the living hell out of whoever the hell is "helping" them. |

| Hi kids! Do you like violence? | Last year, about 30 Korean transfer students came in. They're all pretty chill but still hang out in their own little cliques. Next year, I'm gonna be an exchange student in Japan. It should be pretty grand. |
