Rep Power: 1 ![]() Level: EXP: | Hi guys, wanted to start this discussion... Lately |I've been feeling really worthless at work. Less customers to service, and people just can't be happy and smile anymore it seems. Maybe it's because I work at a bank. So, what do you do? And does it really matter? -Dave |

| Rat poison for dinner. | I work as an assistant teacher in an elementary school. I work in school and after school with the kids on developing reading and math skills (and occasionally play some games and run around outside). It's in a low income area and considered a failing school (link). The kids always cling to me, hug me, share stories with me, beg to work with me, and it makes me feel special :> I recently bought some books for them to read at home. I'd like to think I'm making a difference :p |

| Nobody | Uhh, around here I can't really find something productive to do, it's a small city and the demographic relies on partying (rednecks are a pain). The job market sucks but I am in college. However, in the off-time I'm often bored and stuck at home gaming, messing around with soccer or hanging with friends whenever I can. It seems really dull and it is =/ Though, almost every week myself and a group of friends continue our campaign in D&D. Yes, I'm a nerd and could never escape that fact >=O However, to be honest I don't know as much about D&D as I should, considering I've never taken the time to divulge in the more important aspects of the Player's Handbook, so I just get by with the bare minimum of knowledge :P I used to play drums, however that was for about a month or two when I was planning on starting a band with some friends but they lost interest so now my drumset is scattered about in the guest bedroom. I thought a Protest The Hero/Fall of Troy style band would be fun to play in >.> |
