This is an outrage, he's been labeled a socialist, a whoosy compromiser, and a pathetic fly swatter....and he gets a peace prize. What did he do to get a Nobel Peace Prize, he never accomplished peace with any countries, all he's tried to do was force his socialist healthcare agenda and he gets the Nobel Peace Prize. W...T...F!

WHAT HAS HE DONE? Let's see... Say he's taking us out of the War, only to send more troops to Afghanistan, tick off his own people with his massive reforms, become the mass media's plaything, and basically charm his way into what he wants. Ever hear of the 2,000 dollar date fiasco? :/

I might be going too harsh, but still. This isn't peace prize worthy in my opinion.

I like Barack Obama, but yeah, he hasn't earned this. This isn't to say that he doesn't deserve the Prize because he could end up achieving wonderful and spectacular things worthy of the Prize, but I think giving him one was way out of order and was done waaay too early in his presidential career -- that is to say that he's getting it before he's actually properly achieved anything and changed lives. It's a real kick in the face to those who've earned one rightfully and those who're deserving of one. I think that the fact he's America's first black President has had some say in the decision to give him one.

This is one of those things that will make many people facepalm themselves or bash their head of desks/walls and etc. thinking, "What the hell?"

Obama has done NOTHING. Absolutely, NOTHING, to earn this. So far, the best thing he has done is:

This is such a huge ego boost for him though. Now that he's received this, without actually earning it, Obama's gonna think that he's doing a great job thus feeling that he doesn't have to work as hard. They should have teased with it as an incentive to get some damn work done, besides calling celebrities jackasses and swatting flies and feeling like hot shit!

He didn't charm over the the people to bring the Olympics to Chicago and actually was the first city out of the running for it.

I am surprised he wins this but he wins the Nobel PEACE Prize so i guess give it to him even though I haven't seen much peace since he took over. I would be mad if they were giving him one for Literature or something.

Had you read even a bit of the article, you would've seen that he didn't think he deserved it either. If anything, it'll make him want to try harder to bring peace.
