This was during his time in South Africa, so he may have changed later, but he certainly did not like the natives, and hated that Indians were associated with them (and called Kaffirs in turn).


But if my "grr" wasn't obvious enough, I was being sarcastic, mocking how some people actually feel about him, and about any famous historical figures who were (even partially) racist (like Darwin). I think that Gandhi's acheivements and legacy outweigh his personal flaws.
