So, watching a re-run of South Park not even five minutes ago, and I see this wonderful commercial

YouTube - Exceptionally tasteful 9/11 commemorative dollar ad

It's... absolutely breathtaking. It's like the scam of the century. Liberian legal tender. Silver Foiled. And get this: you get it for "face value" of 20 U.S. Dollars.

How far will people go just to make a buck? I mean seriously now. Not to mention the event they're using to execute their awful scheme.

That was a stupid commercial.
I like how they use "it's bigger than a $20 bill guise" as an argument.
Not to mention turning a tragic day into a cheap scam.

Although I think it's a bit tasteless, I would say I'm not particularly offended by it...
I mean, I know people who died in the WTC, but... I don't think it's all that horrible.

I'm not offended. It's more so to commemorate what happened on 9/11 I believe. Such as the people who died innocently or trying to save other people's lives.

I say buy it, then hock it. That's more than twenty dollars worth of silver.

Or better yet, melt it down and a make small statue of yourself. Then, place it on your end table and wake up every morning to the sweet taste of narcissism. (I suggest grandmother's jewelry for those without credit cards)
