Rep Power: 1 ![]() | I know this sounds really out there, but it was a random thought so I figured I may as well write it down to laugh at later. Anyway; atoms exist on a premise of exchanging electrons between one another. I'm just wondering, if maybe this habit of exchange has been ingrained into our being as humans. We flourish on trade. Even through reproduction, which is thought to be our primary purpose, we're exchanging bodily fluids, sperm, and probably something on an emotional level as well. If the need to exchange overrides the need to reproduce, then it would help explain a part of homosexuality. A PART of it. I know love is an important factor as well, so don't take it as if I'm being solely analytical. We exchange smiles. We exchange air. We exchange ideas. It's an astute observation, to be sure, and I'm not trying to make a big deal out of a coincidence, but I thought it was pretty... nice, in a way. It put me at ease. Discuss. |
