Made in China

today, many products we receive have a label stating that the product was made in China, sometimes it isn't only China, occasionally there is Japan, Thailand, US, but China is a big one. Many people don't like using a chinese product, i have no problem with it personally, but some do...what do you think???

I don't have a problem with it.

I don't think the product embodies all the qualities of China, and therefore I find it weird that people would not want to use a product with the label 'made in China'. Unless they have specific proof that the product was created immorally e.g. using child labour.
And if you have that attitude, you're kind of limiting yourself, because that would apply for Thailand, Korea etc...

And since so few products are made by Thailand, Korea, Japan, etc and so many by China, few by the US, you will barely have anything.

the high gas prices are actually helping the US economy in a way that it's more expensive ship the goods over here than to make them here. That's why a lot of companies are moving back home.

Anyway, stuff from China...well it's okay but my dad says if they refuse/pull the plug

then that's a BIG major problem for us...but that's all I know about it. XD

I dont have a problem with it. Just about all my toys. Er... I mean action figures. Collectibles.ARe made in china. So I kinda like china makin stuff. If they make my action figures I like it. Unless its made by canada. I hate it if its made in canada.

There's no point in discussing this. If you try and devoid your life of everything that's made in China, do you know how costly it would become to buy things? :v

I don't really have a problem with China either, but the whole "lead in the toys' paint" thing is a little concering. Just a bunch of recalls on stuff. Started to label what country their toys came from in stores cause of the whole lead thing.
