Braces....<.<

i got mine awhile ago, But got this odd reatiner yesterday, I cant open of close my mouth with it in.
It hurt like a *****

There actually not that bad. after the first 4 days. Or if your self conscious. Reatiners are what you ahould watch out for <_< >_>

Im only on day two...

But I love how the Orthodontist gave me a free electric toothbrush and a t-shirt. I understand that not all of them do that.

i had braces for 2 years, then retainers for 2 years. both of them i had on both sets of teeth. i hated them lol they hurt so much.

You having braces that stay in 24/7 or removable ones, ASG?

I had both of them, but seriously, things you have to put in only for the night are the most annoying.

Normally you get used to the other kind relatively quickly, the worst problem is eating stuff at the beginning.

i dont mind the ones that dont come off, i hate my retainer, gives me an uderbite T_T

I love going dentist's, and i love braces^^ they give you straight teeth

I had braces for some years and I really hated it... But I'm really glad I had braces though... When I'm looking back at old pics, I had really ugly teeth. Now i have beautiful teeth thanks to the braces xD

You are so lucky. WTF is up with my Orthodontist? He doesn't give out shirts, only stickers.

I used to have my top teeth done a few years ago, then they removed them.
January of this year I had both my top teeth redone and then later after that, my bottom. It's been heck.
My bottom braces have a bracket and wire broken off on one side and on the other side, the bracket has broken off but is still on the wire.
I was supposed to go back to have them check it, but my mom doesn't have the money to pay for the appointments, so I haven't had them checked in about 3 months.

Gross and annoying.

Wear your retainers.

It won't seem like a big deal, but you'll end up with braces again if you don't. And headgear and rubber bands are important too, you'll get your braces off sooner.
