My girlfriend hates turns like loops on the highway. She grabs onto me every time we hit one.

Hm, haven't been here in quite some time.

Anyways, my fears are:

Arsonphobia-Fear of Fire (Bad accident when I was younger)
Arachnophobia-Fear of Spiders (An odd fear I believe I got from my mother.)
Agoraphobia-Fear of Crowded Places (I'm a very paranoid person.)
Ligyrophobia-Fear of Loud Noises (Also because of the accident.)
Automatonophobia-Fear of anything that falsely represents a sentient being. Ex: dolls, dummies, wax figures. (Mostly wax figures, they really creep me out.)
Claustrophobia-Fear of Confined Places
I also have a fear of being scared from suspense or something unexpected, but I don't think there's a technical term for that.

Really the only bad one is Arachnophobia. My fear of Crowded Places is noticable, but I'm not going to have freak out because of it. The rest are easily ignored as long as someone isn't purposefully using my fear as a way to annoy me or something.

I have a serious fear of memory lapses.
Sometimes I almost get myself into a panic because I swear I've forgotten something important for no reason.
(That may sound funny, but I'm not being paranoid. I have a recorded history of just sorta "skipping" periods of time in my memory)

And drowning. Drowning scares the s*** out of me. =O
(Even though I'm on a swim team... o_O)

The things I'm afraid of aren't really things, so much. I mean, everybody will be fearful when faced with something that threatens their lives. But I can brush that aside and deal with it pretty easily.

A spider? Crush it.

In a car with a dangerous driver? Well that's actually kind of fun.

When I was scared of the dark, I locked myself in my bedroom with the lights off for an hour and eventually fell asleep. I even started to like it after that.

No, what I'm really afraid of is failing others, and failing myself. I mean, overcoming all those other fears happened because I succeeded in the first place. If I fail myself, then I'm useless. If I fail somebody else...

Its not exactly a fear of my crushes its more of I'm afraid of what they can do. Ya know? Like the humiliation and the pain that comes with being rejected by someone you like so much.
But on the other hand if the crush isn't too big then I don't have a problem. I'll gladly make a fool of myself for everyone else to laugh at.
Its a bit weird, but I handle that fear. Its the heights that I can't handle at all.

hights, i shake like crazy

bees, i see a bee and im gone

spiders, well i can handle then if their not close to me, so far i haven't spotted a giaint one.

Yeah, when you experience seeing one personally, I bet you'd shat bricks. It scared the crap outta me one day -- I was just carrying a box of old games from the basement up into my room to play for nostalgia purposes. As I was going upstais, I swear I could see my breath (meaning it got cold as hell all of a sudden).

I looked down, and oh shit guess what I saw? A shadow of a kid just standing there. Now, my mom was at work, and I was the only one in the house -- so who was this? I edged down the stairs to see who it was, but it looked like the shadow ran away. I ain't see nobody down there when I went to check.

So I'm not gonna lie, I dropped the box and ran outside after seeing that. Stuff like that scares me shitless. >_<
