Almost every positive action has a negative reaction for someone else.

ex:

pos: we should stop building cars and just walk to stop global warming.

neg: millions of people loose their jobs, sh*t gets f*cked.

pos: we should stop diseases and cure aids.

neg: oh hey the population is so high, we can't feed anyone. uh oh war over food.

pos: make guns illegal!

neg: uh oh now only criminals have guns. and our population is defenseless. crap.

we can change the world, but we cant exactly change ppl. There is always gonna be a negative and positive, and thats really just the balance of what we are.

We are no different from our ancestors, in reality we are just left with knowledge they left behind. think about it, a caveman discovers fire, then his son learns to cook with fire, and then knowledge progresses through each generation, the world begins to change upon each generation of knowledge passed down from ancestor to ancestor. If the world ends, and renews itself, and our population rises again where right back at the beginning.

the hasn't progressed much, even cavemen ran around with sticks killing everything they saw. the only differences are that they did it with less technology and more of a reason

Good point. Well in the long run, I think no matter what anyone does, there will be something negative to say about. Thats just how it is. There are so many different opinons peole have that we could never agree on the same thing.

Changes..... hmmm.... There will constantly be changes. For some good..... others.... not so good. Can man solve the major problems we have? Thousands of years has proved that to be a NO...

It seems the only thing we can do is increase in knowlege to fix the problems we have like alternative fuels and other ideas , but I guess thats just what we've been doing. I guess the price for knowlege brings along an opposite impact for everthing we create. I guess we'll go on with a survival of the fittest mind set theres not enough people to care whats going on outside of their own lives. People will ony have a reaction if they see it effecting them. One thing we need to do is spread the word more,its ridiculous some people don't even believe in global warming.

There are just ppl who dont care or believe no matter how dire a situation is told or presented until something bites them in the ass

"cough, cough Katrina!". Not everybody cared about how bad the situation could be although many did, and see what happened

I remember on the news a while back that a little kid was trying to call the hospital because something happened to his mom, but the lady at the hospital thought it was a prank and was lecturing him and telling him not to do it again. Come to find out later that the kids mother had a heart attack and it was said that if the lady reported the issue, the kids mom would have been saved in time.
