In America, the golden arches of Mcdonalds is more recognized by small children than the Christian Cross. but that's small children. Overall, considering growing Christianity in China and developing countries, and also the icorporation of Christ into Islam as a major prophet, I'd have to say that the most famous person in the world is probably the Prince of Peace Himself, Jesus Christ.
