Striped Ice found in Antartica!

Whoaw!!!

That looked amazing. Especially the one with the people in the boat looking at the vertical striped iceberg. Looks so alien.

The others with waves crashing (as it looks like), amazing. As if the sea froze in a matter of seconds if not miliseconds. (which is actually possible, considering the theory that the earth has switched poles once and will do so again)

As far as a meaning behind those, I'm not really sure.
It wouldn't surprise me.

Maybe it's a natural occurring phenomena similar to sedimentary rock?

However, that ice is beautiful.

I remember seeing this in class this year, apparently, it's a tidal wave that froze instantaneously as it hit shore.

:v It probably froze by the time it reached the shore, but it's essentially impossible for water to freeze instantly with Antarctica's climate.
