Now that people can no longer vote for American Idol anymore, let's turn our attention to something more relavent, shall we?

It's obvious that Obama's gonna take the Democratic primary. Hillary's done and gone. But I'm expecting her to attempt to run as an independent, which is just gonna screw over the Democratic party.

Obama should win. that's all I have to say.

it will def. come down to Obama and McCain. i think Obama has a good chance of winning; he's really popular and from the things i've seen and heard, not much has come from McCain. i saw the interview between Wolf Blitzer on CNN and Obama and (though memory isn't doing me good right now i can't remember what Obama said) some of the things Obama said i agreed with.

although i don't agree with Obama wanting to bring the troops home. yeah, i feel they should be home and out of the Middle East and all, but if they leave, chaos could break out and maybe become worse than it was before. it's our fault in the first place sending them there; we shouldnt have been there in the first place. Bush made a huge mistake in sending our troops there, and now we're in a bigger mess that we can't get out of.

The Iraq invasion was an illegal act of war Bush did to appease the american people when Osama couldn't be found. It's a total farce. Now is the time to end it.

Plus, the iraqies don't want us there any way. If they did, it'd be an entirely different discussion.

It wasn't exactly illegal, just that war was never officially declared. you know, that thing Congress does when it doesn't want to draw fire from the media.

anyway, it's down to obama v. mccain. personally, i wanted obama to win, but right now i kinda think mccain should. he already set out his goals for his first term, one of which happens to be (thank god) the evacuation of US forces from Iraq. However, after the mess Bush put the Republicans/GOP into, it's quite doubtful.

By us law, only with the permission of Congress can a president legally declare war. Bushy boy never got it.


And yes, Obama is the only correct choice. Nothing will change if Hillary or McCain gets in to the white house/

my dad has this feeling that since we're getting a new president, we may have another terrorist attack because whoever attacks us wants to see how the new president handles things. kind of a scary thought, huh?

That'd be horrible. And just for testing the president? If something like that does happen, I just hope the president *cough*Obama*cough* will handle it maturely.

But yeah, I think Hillary should basically drop out and call it quits then face humiliation when the results come in.

By that thought, there should have been a terrorist attack for every president we've ever had since America became a super power.

McCain has already won the Presidential Election, which is a shame, because I really admire Obama's arrogance and naivety.

Nothing really will change in Obama gets in besides another assassianation. I dont think Obama will win mainly because unless Hilary goes as his VP she will run as independent and take votes away from Obama. Hard to say if there is even a correct choice because nothing they really do is going to matter much and as deep as we are in Iraq a withdrawal could result in another terriost attack.

Obama is attempting to sell himself off as another JFK, but politicians who do that are ones I don't trust. =/

McCain is actually great...until he started faking it to get conservatives. Then he sorta sucked.

Hilary is NOT going to run independent unless she is a total idiot, which she isn't. Not even Bill can change that.

If we pulled EVERYTHING out of Iraq now, we would plunge the whole area into civil war - and be back at square one again. I say the sooner we do it, the better. If we give the priests no reason to call us the "Great Satan", then their whole rhetoric will crumble like cookies.

remember when Hillary said she is staying in the race in june because Robert Kennedy was shot in June. She's basically saying she hopes something bad happens to Barack Obama. LOL!
