Well since everyone else is being stupid about it i think the best wooden bat might be maple bats. alot of players in the MLB have been switching to a maple bat lately. Most wood bats wont break instantly unless it hits something it shouldnt or get hit near the bottom part of the part. Hence the reason why pitchers pitch inside and guys bats get broken.
