Rep Power: 3 ![]() | *Charlie Brown scream* That would be Square's excuse for not finishing the series. "We decided there'd be no point to finishing KH because the world will end" I always thought that if Nomura ever considered releasing FM+ out of Japan, the world would end. Huh...*ponders* |

Rep Power: 7 ![]() ![]() ![]() | Okay I need this cleared up.... what do people consider the end of the world? My idea of the end of the world is the end of a lot of human lives on earth (like most >.> lol). Not the destruction of the earth..... aaaand as for that I say we will have no idea when that will be. Can't put a date on it |

| Knight of Zero | Actually, I was reading that the Earth will not actually be swallowed up by the Sun. Since in becoming a red giant, our Sun will lose 30% of its mass, it'll have weaker gravity, so though the Sun will expand, it won't actually gobble us up. Granted, the heat will be enough to evaporate our oceans and end all life as we know it, but at least the rock will survive a bit longer =/ |

Nibiru is a conspiracy. The poles are going to mess up whales. And we don't have ray guns. | |

| Knight of Zero | "The Sun, as part of its evolution, will expand to a red giant in about 5 Gyr. Models predict that the Sun will expand out to about 250 times its present size, roughly 1 AU (150,000,000 km).[129][134] Earth's fate is less clear. As a red giant, the Sun will lose roughly 30% of its mass, so, without tidal effects, the Earth will be in an orbit 1.7 AU (250,000,000 km) from the Sun when the star reaches it maximum radius. Therefore, the planet is thought to escape envelopment by the expanded Sun's sparse outer atmosphere, though most (if not all) existing life would have been destroyed by the Sun's proximity to Earth.[129] However, a more recent simulation indicates that Earth's orbit will decay due to tidal effects and drag, causing it to enter the red giant Sun's atmosphere and be destroyed.[134]" :< |
