| Banned | Does anyone here enjoy birthdays, or is it like another day for you. I know that as i grew older birthday parties became less exciting to me so really it seems like another day. It's hard to avoid as my family find every which way to tell me happy birthday, I swear the phone never leaves my ear for nearly half the day. Anyways what do you guys think of birthdays, do you find it as a good tradition? would you still have birthday parties when your like 80 years old? would you make it an event for any future kids to come in your life? Just turned 19 today, and as i look at my bio there's no turning back |

Rep Power: 3 ![]() | Hap-pay B-day! I pretty much enjoy birthday parties most of the time. My friends have some of the best parties and funnest things to do. Parties at my house aren't really that great; get the cake, sing, take pictures, eat and shut up. No friends are invitied. Growing older I got invited to B-day parties less and less. I did have some cool parties when I was younger though, but I'm nervous of going to Chuck E. Cheese again. O.o I think I will have some pretty fun parties as I get older though. That'd be the excitement I need. Try and make my kids and friends have more of a party then I'm having now. |

NO! I WILL NEVER BE 80! I'm scared of growing that old. (long story) ehhh, future kids? yeah, but up until their like 7 yrs old and then after wards, when they're like in their teens, just take them somewhere where they've always wanted to go. or give them something they've always wanted. | |||

It's basically when you get into your teens, except for Sweet 16, you really don't want your birthday to be a whole big deal, you just wanna watch T.V., hang out with your girl/boyfriend, or just go out to eat with your family. But when you're really old, you just want somebody to remember it's your birthday and be with your loved ones. |

| Ball me Blazer. | Eh, I stopped having birthday parties when I was like eleven. I just found them annoying after a while. But I may have a sweet 16, and that'll be IT! Happy B-day BTW (rhymes O.o) |

| Rush | Happy Birthday mate! I find that it's just another day for me... nothing interesting happened for it since i was... 10... sad lol... but yeah, i always avoid telling ppls when it is, cos i don't particularly like ppl singing it to me... And the one thing I want I can't get anyways... *sigh* *points at poem* |

| Some call it magic. | That depends. ;O If I get sweet awesome presents and a whole lotta money or if my friends actually show up or call to wish me a happy birthday or something then I'm a happy one year older! If I get nothing then it's really just another day. That might seem shallow but it's the people around me that can really make or break my b-days. |

Rep Power: 2 ![]() | Since the 7th I've always kept my birthday a secret from my friends. Then after a few weeks I say, "oh yeah, I forgot: My birthday was a few weeks ago" just to either make them feel bad, or see how angry they get XD |

I just had a small celebration last year with just a couple of my closest friends, but no more than that. I'm planning to have a huge party this year though because I'm turning 20. |

Rep Power: 2 ![]() ![]() | I don't really even think about it much anymore. My fam was so shocked wen I told them I didn't want a sweet 16, but I just didn't find it a big deal. I'm glad to be getting older, but I don't think it absolutely HAS to be celebrated. Besides, I'm not much of a party person irl anyway. |

Rep Power: 5 ![]() | Unfortunately, no one is really my friend enough to give a shit about my birthday, so it's just a small thing I celebrate with my family. =/ The best gifts I got, though, were a collection of Marcus Aurelius quotes for the Mediations and a writer's journal. I don't like big birthdays, they put the emphasis on capitalism and not on the day of your birth. |

Rep Power: 2 ![]() | The only reason I'd have a birthday party is to try and get back the $120+ I spent on my friends' birthday parties |
