Did anyone do anything for Cinco de Mayo?

I got to play with band to open up for the Spanish, which did some cool dances. Other than that, it was just another regular school day.

uhmm...nothing really. my Spanish class did nothing today, we just chilled. the Spanish club was supposed to go out to dinner tonight in the city, but I missed the meeting to sign up so I didnt get to go. i heard there was a problem with the restaurant anyway.

I didn't go to school today, so I have no idea what happened at Spanish class. But I'm pretty sure there was a parade here in Chicago.

i am not mexican or a person who finds some sort of holiday to party so nothing more than i took my final for history.

We went out for tortilla chips and Mexican food...

For some reason, in Algebra Class today, our teacher had like a 20 minute history discussion on Cinco de Mayo... I mean, in a math class... Like wtf? ;p

I hate Cinco de Mayo, I really do- and I'm Mexican.
I guess it's because most of the Mexicans here, they get all 'ghetto' and stuff.. they say they are.
and I'm like, w/e.
They over-do it; it's ridiculous.
Well, this year, they brought in a Mariachi Band to play at our school.
they had a great trumpeter, though.

The only Mexican holiday I celebrate is Sept 16; "El Grito" Mexican Independence day.

Yep, May 5th is just another day for me. Im a self Hating Mexican. I cant stand them Riding arround in there cars with like 30Ft flags flying out there window. Its so Annoying.

Also Chicago had that Stupid Parade yesterday. It was pretty lame.

I was actually kinda pissed that there were gonna be a bunch of Crazy parties going on this past weekend around my block. To my Surprise it was completly quite and not a single Party going on from what i seen.

I was able to sleep easy with out there Annoying music that they find entertaining and find the need to blast beyond the limits of necessity.

Well i guess theres always Mexican Independence Day.
Am not looking forward to that.
