Can you sleep with noise?

This may be a funny topic, but i find it impossible to sleep with noise around me

anywho my family is quite huge so i sleep in one room with my bro (different beds of course)
and the problem is that he snores like an elephant, and i use sound guards in order to sleep
however, it's still no use so i sleep in the living room these days -.-

if any of you people were in my place, what would you do?

I can only sleep when it's noisy if I'm really tired. My mom likes to play music in the morning and it drives me insane.

I can sleep with noise if it's adjusted to my liking, but if someone else is controlling the noise, I get pissed and can't sleep.

lol, I could sleep through a train wreck. It takes a lot to wake me up. I remember that once there was an earthquake, just for a split second. I guess it lifted my bed off the ground but I dont remember any of it. I was told of it.

I've got a rat and he runs on his wheel at night, lately I've been sleeping on the couch in the living room, but I can fall asleep to music.

Well, I certainly don't mind XD I can sleep with or without strong or quiet noises.

Here's the proof:
You see, my neighbor's house has an alarm system, and in the last summer holidays, they went to I-don't-know-where for a month, and while they were away, the alarm system got crazy, it got activated every hour or so, but after ten minutes more or less it turned off.
Well, once they police, thinking that something had happened when the alarm turned on, entered into the house of my neighbors by the back door, and to access the back garden they walked through my house's roof XD XD. It was around one o'clock, and I was asleep...And I didn't notice!!! When my mom told me about it the next day I couldn't believe it XDXD

Mysterious, you're right. Sleeping in a quiet enviroment is not the same, but for me any place is a quiet enviroment hahaha.

Now I'm wondering why some people can sleep anywhere with any noise, and why some people can't...XD
