Can you sleep with noise?

I can deal with a bit of noise when I sleep. Not like a train running through my backyard or anything (I slept over at a friend's once who has a train station almost right next to his house, not fun during the early morning commute ). It's more light that I can't sleep with.

i kidna always have to sleep with noise

but then if someone turns it off, i'll wake up 30 minutes later and have to turn it back on

but lately ive been able to go to sleep without much noise
probably cuz my cd player broke
but i try to listen to my mp3 to go to bed, so idk

I'm not really a picky sleeper. i have trouble falling asleep in my own bed though. the couch or beanbag chair is best

I've tried falling asleep listening to music.......and I failed.

But I fall asleep easily with the TV on.

I prefer it actually. :D

The only way I can even get to sleep is putting in a DVD or listening to music. :/

I wasn't able to sleep with noise in the past. That all changed when I got gerbils. They're very loud and active at night and early into the morning. Now a days I just sleep with my TV on; though it isn't making any noise because it's muted. I've found I have a hard time falling asleep to music that I really like or have already heard or that's in English. It's much easier for me to fall asleep if I've never heard it before or if it's in a different language. I usually sleep through thunder storms and wake up without knowing there even was one. I do get irritated by the ringing of phones and alarm clocks though. They always seem to wake me up... as well as the screeching of my niece and nephews.

im not sure what to tell you really for dealing with or cancelling out his noise.-. noise doesnt bother me. i just sleep. even if im not uber tired and just want to rest i can. doesnt matter really..

For me, I need to have some kind of noise to sleep. Be it a fan or television. I can't sleep with really loud noises tho. Like with yelling or people blasting their music at 2 am at night.

I can pretty much fall asleep under any circumstances . . . except maybe getting beaten up, that might be my limit, lol.
