first kh graphics attempt in a year

ok, so I lost this site for about a year (I know this because last time I was on here, it was about christmas time lol) well any way, I got away from photoshopping and such and recently, I downloaded gimp again. I've made an attempt at doing a sora valor form manip so tell me what you think:

You took the image and applied a blur filter or something for the sorts to the stock. Not much to say.

umm ok, not? there is more than you think apparently. I've made a new one of final form, rather ugly to look at but by time I realized what I did wrong, I couldn't fix it.

There's nothing really to comment on, on either of these... looks like you just threw a bunch of filters on the first one, and on the second, just used the radial blur + distort wave. :\

Oh, and Edit>Undo usually fixes most things.

The first on only looks like you used a gradient tool on the background then stuck a few pictures and words on it.

wow, fatal, that is way more than I did lol. I don't know, on the second one I was trying to fix my mistakes by adding stuff... well it all went to poop, I have the original of the second one saved if you want to see it. and I didn't want to do undo because it would have taken way too much ctrl+Z to get there.

If you did more than we say you did for the first one, why not just tell us what you did to it? That way we can stop hounding you, if you really did what you claim to have done.

because to be honest, I don't remember exactly what I did, I just did a bunch of different stuff that I thought would blend together.
