I can't believe it. No matter how much evidence you have, I just don't think it's possible. Sure it may be true, but JM has gained my respect (which seems to be particularily easy these days), but still he has it.

You really should cheak all your sources before making an accusation yourself. Laath has my friendship and trust, and i respect him as much as I respect my parents. Its insulting to be accused of being a ripper, but maybe you should try doing something with your work that differentiates from other art pieces.Iv analized both pieces, and the only thing different between the wallpaper and your "sig" is text, a border, a little brushing and a little yellow cloud, so who really is the simple one? Everyone has thier own unique style, and just becuase you may think its "simple", dosn't mean its a piece of sh*t. Experementing with a new program or two is what good graphic artists do, regardless if they suck at it or not. Laath has my respect, I dont care what you think of him.

I sense HUGE hypocrisy in this thread. Star Princess, look at my sig. =P It's simple, and yet loved by all. xD WHy is that? It has eye candy. Eye candy + Skill is what makes up graphics today. Not just skill (laath and hellpark) but also eyecandy (n00b sig makers). And BTW Starprincess, you dont have the rights to say the above statement, because your sig style is so overused, it's pathetic. =D

Now then, jmbiddy says he changed the stock, I'm letting this thread continue for further discussion, untill one person can prove BOTH SIDES correct, or incorrect.

I used her image as a stock for my peice and did an image manip, as well as creating effects and other various signature effects. Ripping has never been in my nature and i never have. So dont say i ripped anything. I used her as a bg and stock. Ripping is taking an image and just saying its yours. And by your logic, ripping would then be taking a picture from a video game and using it in a signature and then by your standards (however rediculous they may be) say that it is ripping. The fact that i have to defend myself on the basis of using stock image and creating a full, entirely differnt signature with your clains is out of this world and your attitude should not be tolerated.

Your stock excuse doesn't work one bit because you even used his background. I also couldn't give one flying fu.ck what they think about me at NSL. But, again, if thats your excuse, I am labeled a pro there....So, once again, your attempt at an excuse failed.

And I only returned to let the people know the truth and not kiss your ass all day, which you seem to love so much. You're a fraud and you've been caught. Oh, and by the way, I seem to remember you claiming that vector as your own vector.

Well, my respect isn't holy, but you should think of what people think of you. o.o Thats why all of the "graphics newbs" hate your "all mighty skill" and love C4's "eye gaushingly sexy" sigs. =D And I'm happy your "dishing out the truth", I've said so numerous times, Rippers are...err..Strippers!
