Anyway, IMO on C4D= Some people use it good. SOME, and FEW people who use it actually do things differently than each other. Most people who download C4D and figure out how to use it just slap it on and coincidentally make theirs just like everyone else's, and seeing it so often, it's plain and boring now. Time for a new fad. C4D's aren't impressing anymore unless you make yours different and creative, which I've seen very few that qualify as that.

Some of them are just plain ugly, but not all.

1. C4D is not a fad, it's modeling software and ppl USE it to make abstract renders. those who you see "slap" on these renders you also needs to consider how much time it takes to actually make a GOOD render with a GOOD material. in most cases its not a quick 123 job. ive had C4D run overnight and into the day just to render one thing.

2. those that you see somewhat "slapped" on are half od the time just getting the hang of using the renders so get used to it.

3. if you feel C4D is so overrated how the hell do you feel about 3/4 of the gfx section using dled brushes?

Don't be a hypocrite now, Ecs. You were using downloaded brushes untill you started using renders, and you never complained once.

So as soon as YOU and YOUR buddies stop using brushes here, it is henceforth n00by? Kindly, for once in your life, stfu.

1. but the thing is your complaining about a fad and thats exactly what dled brushes are...there a "fad" some ppl cant let go of. yes i did use dled brushes but i didnt stay with them now did i? i kept it moving. this gfx and you all on the other hand cant seem to let them go. you rather accept that than C4D? a program that takes way more skill and time than slapping on a bunch of fractals?

2.i never said i didnt use dled brushes (who hasnt) what im saying is how can you be bitching about a so called "fad" that hasnt been around as long as the dled brushing "fad"?
3. im not bringing them down...if anything i hope their reading and actually considering to move the hell on <.<

EDIT: what he is saying is that it isnt a quick process to just make a nice looking render. its time consuming there fore more work is put into it then just putting the render on the tag...

Hmm, sadly I dont have the PM, but you used to cherish me, oh well, they grow up so fast.

Also, I think you of all people have no right to say that dl brushes are overused and a fad, because apparently that is what c4d has become. ^^ You've done just what you think you're trying to run away from. I know people who spend just as time on brushes as they do renders, and saying one program takes "exceptional" skill, is exactly what I expected from your type.

Seriously need to give it up.
