Avatars/Sig Help!

Hi can someone please tell me which software/program do I need in order to make my own Avatar or Sig? I have heard of "Ulead Gif Animator" but for some reason it wont download on my computer, so can anyone lend a hand? Thank you.

The best thing to get is a recent version of photoshop. Iv never heard of Ulead Gif Animator, so i cant help you with that. Once you get the program, try some tutorials to help you get started. If you really want a set, pm a graphic artist to make one for you.

K thanks I just downloaded Adobe Photoshop but the C.D key they gave me was wrong, well I will try to find another software.Thanks again.
