if by "mucky" you mean "bad," then you succeeded.

the effects of the pink color in the background look horrible next to the stock and even worse next to the black area and rainbow area on the right. the words are hard to read b/c they're blurred and all those little white dots near the guy's head and the rainbow area look really bad.

it seriously looks like you just threw some different things together and it does not work.

EDIT: i was looking at some of your older pieces and they look way better than this. please, go back to what you were doing.

the stock literally looks 2D. Work on lighting and flow. That text there is an eyesore, if it doesn't flow with the tag, don't add it.

2 key things, to look for, is
1- fix your stock
2- get a flow going on. needs action

There's no flow, no kind of coloring, even if it were going to be going for the "colorful everywhere", it didn't hit that scheme. The blur and oversharpen is strange to me.

I just don't like it very much. But if you are happy with it that is fine.

My main concerns.

Stock placement, rotate it into a more dignified position where we cant see the sharp edge of it.
That little splash of red/green to the left looks bizarre and distracting. Smooth it out or get rid of it :x.
That tear top right, looks useful for a clipping mask or dupe. Take advantage.
