been working on this on and off for about a month or so now i think

was worried that i wasn't going to finish it and just leave it several times during the process but i'm glad i didn't because i like the result



original size is A1 so it was a bit of a bitch for my computer sometimes

anyway i'd love to hear what you guys think about this one

that's amazing. can't imagine anyone not liking it.
i adore how the bottom looks like the perfect elementary school project.

i disagree with CME about the shadows since they complement the clouds. i was gonna say move them downward some, but then that would change the nice white space you have going.

only part i don't get is the center. i don't quite get how its the meeting point, unless you were going for something else.

I think what he was going for was how the center is like the inner-dimensions of light and darkness, from where darkness begins at the top, and it comes to a middle point, or the "meeting place".

more or less, the fountain is the place where we met

she came from the city, I came from the suburbs, and at the time, our meeting place was the center of my universe

I think it'd look nice by making the upper middle a bit darker, imo.... but I love it so far.

I'm curious, did you make all of the shapes yourself?

pretty much

the top part is made of photographs i took of some buildings, I vectored the upper roads, and used a picture of some street lamps

the lower half i made out of drawing cutouts that i scanned in
