I've been pretty inactive in just about every aspect of this section due to my course and looking for work, but from general observation it seems like you guys are getting along pretty well, and the other mods are doing a fine job. That being said, this is from everything that I've noticed. I don't know how you guys feel about any of, and it's your section, so uh

how is everything here? Is there anything you'd like changed, to see done?

You asking what we want to make this section better, I don't think there is anything that needs improvement. Everything seems to in tip-top condition here, well for the time being.

Well I think the clan system should definitely be brought back to life, because it's dead at the moment.

I'd like to see a Large Piece of the Week/Month contest and as Salty said, make the clans active again.

if there were to be a Large Piece of the Month, I think it would work best if we made it Artwork of the Month and made it a joint competition with Traditional Media so that it encompasses all elements of visual art.

pretty much sums it up right there. we've tried to push it along before and the like, but we just decided to scrap it altogether because they all eventually died.

The thing is with AotM, is that it takes up too much time. I tried giving extensions to users to get at least SOME entries in, but that didn't help much either. I do agree that we should do it, but I just don't know if it will work.

Unless somebody has other suggestions to change it.

I think the way we went about doing it was a bit excessive. I think it would be better if it was set up exactly the same as SotW.

Personally, as I said above, I think there would need to be some insentive, to give more reason to participate/actually enter works on time etc. What type of insentive it is though, on the other hand, depends on how much there is to give

Edit: I agree with you, Crow. before it was more or less something that would be over in a month or two. At least like SotW, no one feels as much pressure to do it either

Well, I guess it's worth a try. And I think we should hear everybody's thoughts on this, so we can all enjoy it.
But I still don't get what you mean by doing it 'exactly' like SotW..?
