| Banned | Doesn't really feel as though there's been any growth within the last 4 of your tags that I've seen. Or at least, around that amount. Experiment more with effect choice. If you refuse to let go of the lightning bolts, blend images where they're not always in the same areas, and structure it to move in a 'flow' within your tags. You don't need Photoshop in order to do that. Gimp was made as PS's impression after all. There's no connection between your effects and your stock pieces. Try playing around with imagining how those effects would flourish out of your stocks, build your backgrounds, or grow within your tags..and apply it into the process of making it work. |

| Sir Jecht's Judge Magister Gabranth | I agree with everything Kambria said. I suggest maybe trying to smudge the lightning bolts, just for something different. I think it could seriously work. And if you're going to have an effect over the stock, make it so it's at least leaving some type of focal point, for instance, cover the shoulders/chest etc, but still leave the face. In this piece, I can see that you've really made the effort of blending the stock in, but even still... If you do make a v2 of this, I suggest bringing the stock onto the top of everything else. Using layers always helps a great amount, if you don't use them already. |
