The effects seem a tad cluttered

The effects clash each other as Troy said and the stock needs fix'n. It doesn't go with the BG and effects. He should be blended with the BG. You shold try some clipping masks with this.

you cleaned off his hand and blurred the effects behind it you would have nice depth.

If you created or centered more of the effects to collect around him to build more of a focal, plus another little something to make your stock more distinctive against the background besides its colors...it'd make it more dynamic.

Maybe if you found a way to emphasize the glasses he's wearing, then make effects that follow that same style and incorporate them into it.
It'd be a mixture of two different things up against each other, and it would introduce it to much more originality, imo.

Otherwise, its nice to stare at.
But once you're used to it, the clutter starts to lose its charm.
