That's a pretty good signature. I prefer your version two more then version one. Although I do like the colors more on your first one. The only thing that bugs me on both signatures is how stock on the right side appears low in quality. Other then that it's a good signature.

there really doesnt seem to be much going on. it looks as if you just made the background
blury then added some text and a border.
i think there is to much light on the left side. and the right seems a little low quality.

i do like the font you used, and how you made the subject really stand out.
i like the coloring in v2 alot better then the first one.

Fractals and pure white light never work, and text stands out too much as well

Yeah thanks for pointing that lighting error out.

I had just realized how oblivious I was when I was making the tag. Though I didn't saturate the bottom right area. I had used a splatter brush and filled it in with the original stock.

I think it's good.
Aside from the errors already said, the text isn't that nice, in my opinion... You should find something that compliments the picture... Something with color too, it would be better colored text, rather than black...
Good job overall, though, I really like it :D
