Rep Power: 3 ![]() ![]() ![]() | Kingdom Hearts - Requiem for a dream This is my First ever AMV. I know it's not very good. and that The backround SFX interfere too much. I used WMM and any constuctive critizim is welcome. Also could someone please tell me how to silence the original video's SFX. Thanks you for your time. |

| (E)motion Isn't Meaning | ^Just delete it's audio channel Erm the biggest complaint is that their is very little editing at all, which isn't helped by the limitations of the two clips you chose, there needs to be more variety in the actual product, rather than let's watch ASAS with an audio channel in the background, which is what it felt like. To make a really good AMV you're going to have to spend alot of time on it, it's not something you do in an hour free (you plan it perhaps then), in order to get the timing right with the music, the application of the scene to the lyrics and the beat, and then worry about any effects thereafter. Nailing the timing and the flow is easily the most important feature though... Search through GTXs earlier work, it was all done on WMM to an exceptional calibre where you can tell that real time and effort was put into making it, and it shows... YouTube - GTX's Videos |

If you want to credit them, put them at the end of the video along with the rest of the info.(ex. artist, album, song) - You need to use more clips for a AMV. Two just doesn't cut it. - Important thing to remember also. Try to avoid overrated music, "Requiem for A Dream" is a great song but many AMV's already used it for many types of games and anime.(Other ex. Linkin Park, Evanescence) - Music and audio: don't use audio from the clip unless its really necessary, but I do have to admit that a few seconds into the AMV, the audio and music blended nicely together. As for music, not good to butcher it. It won't be consistant and could get annoying. - Editing: The best way to plan a AMV is to write notes and plan your whole video on your notebook. Pretty much I would say the same thing as chaywa said. Keep working at it. |
