Ripping

Alright so I got the FFAC DVD and I want to rip the movie from there to my computer. What program can I use to do this?

I don't think this is really the right section...
I'm not aware of any media that can RIP Dvds, since, I don't really RIP dvd's myself, I just watch, than just, give it back or something... I'm sure you can find on google though...

Actually there is plenty of programs I've found to do so. just forgot to post and tell.

It seems you don't know it, but the title (not the post) is actually relevant to the section :v

Though this is the wrong section. Should be in Technology.

okay this may work because i tried on FF-the spirits within and the way the folders were put into the disc it didnt work but first i NEED to know what windows you have.

NOTE- it has worked with others cds

I haven't used it myself but this looks like a good option, Magic DVD Ripper - rip DVD to hard drive or blank DVD

if you have vista you dont need any software just do autorun then click open files then copy the files to your coputer thats all.......well atleast all I had to do.

You can do this with any computer that can read DVDs but it serves no purpose. To be able to play them on anything else, the DVD needs to be ripped and encoded into something other than .VOB files.

Zook was the first to give you any sort of useful advice and I'll just expand on it by linking you here. That link brings you to a Google search result for "Free DVD Ripping Software" and should at least point you in the right direction.

Personally, I've been looking for something that does this well for a long time so I'll let you know if I find anything that does a particularly good job.

Well after i get them off of the disc i just converts it to a format with a video format software.
