Theme: Square-Enix
Only clips from video games, movies, and anime shows that Square-Enix owns or created (in FMV) can be used in the worm. So no slideshows please…

AMV Worm Information:
The worm will take place within a 3 week period. The AMV worm will wrap up at the end of the 3rd week. At the end of the 2nd week will be the end of registration. It will follow a similar way like last time. The TV trick will still be used, such as the ‘click’ effect. You will post your entry along with the template completely filled out in the thread.

[B]Order:[/B]
People who sign up within the first week will be able to choose their positions. They can choose to be first, last, middle, 2nd last, 2nd first, etc. People who sign up in the 2nd week will be given the earliest available position (ex. If 1, 2, 4, 6 spots are taken then the next two people will be given the 3 and 5 spots). If you choose a position that’s too high, then it will be bumped down to an appropriate place (you want to be in spot #9 and we only go to 8 and the position for ‘last’ is taken. Then you will be bumped down to #7). Answers such as “I want to be #3” and “I want to be in the middle” are accepted.
-Keep in mind that if you are assigned 1, then you start off the whole project. And if you are assigned to be last, then you end the whole thing.-

[B]Rules/Format[/B]
1. All entries be in either .avi or .wmv format, PM [B]GTX[/B] if you need help with this.

2. Your entry has to be at least 20 seconds long. The max is 50 seconds. Any entry that does not follow this shall be discarded until it is fixed.

3. People who are starting out first/last will have a full minute for their entry. They will have a good amount of time to properly begin/end the worm.

4. Clips used can not show any nudity, sexual themes, gore and/or intense violence. If yours does contain any of the listed clips then it will not be allowed in and the user will no longer be able to participate.

5. Only ONE entry per participant. 20-50 seconds is more than enough time in the spotlight.

6. It is required that you use file hosting sites (like megaupload.com, sendspace.com, etc.) so we can receive your entry. Copy the url that they give you and post it in this thread along with a proper fill out of the template. It is strongly advised that you put your e-mail as the recipient so you have a copy of the proper link.

7. Do not worry about the “click” effect. It will be added in with the worm.

8. You are allowed to use any piece of the song you want as long as the clips and song don’t begin or end with a fade (Unless you are assigned to be first or last). The reason is because the fades ruin the ‘click’ sound. If it does begin or end with a fade then it will be shortened.

9. You need to have at least 3 AMV’s completed to participate. If you don’t have 3 done, then two weeks should be enough to put a few out. No exceptions.

10. You can also switch entries, if you make a better one within the first two weeks.

11. The song, artists, and source of clips must be provided (via the template) when you post the link in the thread. If you don't do it even after we remind you, then your left out.

12. [COLOR="Red"]If anyone is using sony vegas or adobe premiere to make their entry, please crop off subtitles.
To everyone else that uses movie maker, I will crop the subs myself when I receive your entry[/color]

Deadline: Monday, July 21

If you have any questions or disagree with something strongly, then by all means post. But any suggestions made after the first week will be discarded since people will be too involved in their entries to make changes.


And one final change:
(7/8/08) SIGN-UPS ARE OFFICIALLY OVER. A TOTAL OF 20 PEOPLE ARE CURRENTLY TAKING PART IN THIS WORM, AND THAT IS ALL I CAN TAKE. If I admitted any more people, then the worm would be drawn out, and go way beyond a decent time limit. Sorry.

well do u want s-e game clips or s-e owned anime clips? The anime clips u can get from the site i sent u. but the only ones u can use is "Full Metal Alchemist" and "Soul Eater." But I'll see if I can find any sites where u can find ff clips, at best. Try the Resource section for now though.

You can try browsing filefront.com, bluelaguna.net is one of your best bets though.

Final Fantasy 10 movies 3 isn't there. All the others come up.

EDIT: Bluelaguna has all the clips, but when I go to download one, it goes straight to Media Player instead of giving me an option to save or open. Can I save clip from there?

Right click on the link of the video file, then go to Save Target As...

You should be able to save it as a .avi file then.

Damnit I encountered another problem. It seems onmly on my computer that when I go to save the file as you've said, it saves as a picture and when opened comes up to the webpage where it's downloaded. But when I repeat the process on another computer it's saved as a download.

Are you sure you're clicking the right link. You have to be positive it's the link with the video. If its any other link, then it'll save as a webpage like the problem you're having.

Well yeah i'm sure it's the right link because as I said, it is saved as the video on another computer.

But I found another source for my video. Just need to think of the right song now.

EDIT: I don't know if i'll be able to do this. I can't work with WMV it's way TOO slow and won't work preperly. Have no other program and that Vegas file you gave me Kendra won't come up right when I open it. Says it's now found.
