But there's the problem. That won't come up either. The download box doesn't show, the clip goes straight to Media Player and plays instead of downloading.

there must be something up with ur browser options then.
what are u using? IE 7? firefox?

hmmm, then you would need to change your dl options then. sadly I don't have the old IE anyone. 7's a bit different. Why don't u try using firefox.

*smacks head on desk* Okay, I just finished my section of the worm, but when it rendered it, the file size is huge (I'm talking 169 mb, here). I'm not that fantastic with computers...can anyone tell me how to make the file smaller, please?

I'm using Sony Vegas, by the way...does Vegas always render the files so freakin' huge? Or do I just have bad luck?

I had the same exact problem you were having. It depends on the file type your saving it as. If your saving it as .avi then the file is going to huge.

Save it as .wmv, make sure the template is default and then go to custom to change the save settings. In the project settings, change the rendering quality to preview. Trust me, there's hardly any change between that, good and best.

Save it then. It should take longer but be in lower quality.
