I really like your work because it reminds me of what I used to do lol. I love the abstract feel to it, and the color is very nice. However, like unchained said, it does looks sorta like your other stuff, especially the one in your sig. I still like it a lot. But you need to add something to this one to separate it from the others. Something creative. If you want a piccy in it, go with that.

EDIT: Btw, I like that one more than the one in your sig right now. I like the colors a lot. You got a 8.5 because it looks like your other stuff.

Logpile if i didnt know any better Id think is was the same thing. It looks like you used the same technique but came out with a different result and then just used hue/saturation or something.What laath said is right you need to add something to it to make its stand out. Ever tried animating it? I like you current sig better, i love when a picture has the color burn look to it. It kind of reminds me of the movie "Avalon" if anyone has ever watched it.
