Well! I finally posted in here. I just made my first proper fan fic that has some detail and a lengthy chapter. It took me two hours to write it up! But I was thinking all day on what to put down, so it might have taken longer if I made it up on the spot.

Ok, now that I've got that out of the way, I might read some fan fics now. I'll see you guys later. But the one thing that annoys me when I'm writing fan fics is when you type so much and then your fingers really hurt!

neway, im writing a new fanficcy. i want to use original characters seeing that alot of people hate the soriku (sora, kairi, riku) centered fics....that a good idea?

I like soriku fics, just because I love that friendship. ^-^ <3 But I also like original characters too.

So go ahead with yer OC-ness, kao-chan. =D I'm going to toss OCs into my Soriku fic anywayz.

The only advice I have is to make sure you don't turn yer characters in Sues. O made a mary-Sue test a while back ... a long while ... actually, it was New Years if I remember. xD You can look it up under my threads if you want.

Maybe I should make a new one and post it....

im writing a fan fic about Axel and i have written up to chapter 7 but i havnt posted them yet.i probably will soon but i need names for characters, so if anyone has any suggestions.beware.when i post the fan fic it probably wont be good but bear with me.i have a great imagination for writting but for sum reason it sounds better when i make it up in my head then on paper

I write oringinal fiction as well, but I don't have any I'm currently working on. The ones I've got need much more work and planning before they ever get posted.

Thnx but I think it'll remain a sideproject until I manage to finish one of my other fics, I don't want to have 3 fics to worry about ^^


As for lonepickle, thnx for your....um ruthless honesty, but I prefer getting more opinions than just yours before I make my decision.

yeah a lot of people might make errors in writing a fic about the game, but not me, I'm quite comitted, I'll search anything I don't remember in wikipedia, and if it comes down to it, I will start a new game in FF7 just so I don't make a mistake.

Well if I make a FF7 novelization, I have no choice but to get all the facts straight, because the people who read my fic, and have never played the game will be taking my word for everything that happens, so I wouldn't wanna accidentally give false information.


In another note, in my Axel fic, I don't remember by memory all of the organization members. Not to mention I wanna get as much research on Axel as possible so as to portray him correctly.

I also didn't know what his weapons were called, and I didn't wanna be saying "fire wheels" for my whole story, so I searched and found out they're called chakrams.

It's some small details that can change a story's flow, and outcome.
