An adventure in the land of hearts...

Chapter one

Where am I? Who am I? What am I supposed to do now? Renn found himself on the side of an old dirt road just on the edge of a forest. I remember falling asleep in my bed but now I’m lost...Oh well might as well follow this road and see if it leads me back home.

Renn walked along an old dirt road leading to a large imperial city. When he reached the gate he was stopped by a good sized guard with brown hair, He seemed quite young, “No one shall pass until the parade passes this gate!” He ordered. Renn stepped back but he was tall enough to get a view of a float that looked like a cute stuffed animal with wings and frills and all other kinds of stuff. On top of the float was a beautiful girl. He walked over to the guard and said: “Who is that beautiful girl on the front of the float?”
“Oh, the two of them are princesses of the Kingdom of Heart the one in the blue dress is Kristalacia, and the one standing behind her is the elder princess Anastasia. But the people refer to them as Princess Krista and Ana.”
“Okay and what is your name?” He asked.
“I am Shamdeo, The royal guard.” He responded.
“I am Renn, The forgetful.” He said back.&l 3fe0 t;/font>
“Okay I may let you pass...The parade is over now.”

Renn thought as he walked into the busy city. Krista is short for Kristalacia. And I remember helping her several times... When she was young... but it’s quite fuzzy... Then all of a sudden he bumped shoulders with another person, knocking them down. “Oh are you alright?” He said as he bent over, offering his hand. The hat on the person’s head fell off revealing long black hair.

“Oh I’m so sorry. Please don’t hurt me.”
“No it’s quite alright. And why would I hurt you?”
“Oh, I thought you were somebody else.”
“May I ask your name?” He asked.
“Tsuki, Tsuki Yuffie Law.”
“I’m Renn.”
Renn grabbed Tsuki’s hand and helped her up.
“It’s quite odd. You have the same name as him.”
“Who?” Renn asked blankly.
“Renn, the prophecy.”
“The prophecy? But the only name I have for myself is Renn.”
“The great tapestry tells of a boy who’ll come to this land to free us from the grip of Samuel, The Superpuss. He was once the king’s Gilian’s trusted advisor until he bound the king’s spirit in a sword and placed it in the most deadly of places...the cave of Chaos. The sword was named Glidra after the king sealed inside. Gilian is Ana’s and Krista’s older brother. Their father: Lord Silh has gone into hiding since his son’s fall and is the only one who can free his son but Samuel has stolen the throne and named himself king now. The only way is to wait for the boy of prophecy to come, retrieve the sword, and defeat the great Sorcerer. I should go... your next step is to see Princess Krista. Good luck.”

well time for chapter two!!!!!

Chapter two

I’m a boy of prophecy? What is with that?

Renn looked around the great city. He trekked across streets, into shops, and so many places he couldn’t recognize. “I’m a boy of prophecy in an odd land, what is with that?”
“HEY YOU! BOY! COME HERE!” He heard someone yell.
“Do you mean me?” Renn asked.
“Yes you!”
Renn walked over to a strapping young man garbed in some of the finest clothing,
Renn then looked down at himself and saw he was wearing just some black boots, Blue jeans and a green shirt with the sleeves cut off.
“Looks like your down on your luck boy...and I’m feeling rather charitable today... would you like me to give you some money? Maybe invite you to dinner at the palace?”
3fe0 “Uh sure. What time is dinner? And how do I get there?”
“Oh, a fast talker eh? Okay it’s in about three hours and the palace is just down this street in the direction you are facing. Just tell the guard Ryan, son of King Samuel invited you...”
“Thank you Ryan.”
“Don’t call me that in public, Call me Skye, got it?”
“I get what you are saying, yeah.”
Rya- I mean Skye then gave Renn a large bag of gold coins. Renn could barely lift it.
Holy crap! He’s that rich to spare this much money? First I probably need some better clothes... Renn found a clothing shop down the street and he found an outfit that he thought was familiar, a red hoody with black jeans with a special tribal design down each leg. Renn then grabbed the items off the racks and said:

“I’d like these if you don’t mind.”

“Alright, that comes to twenty coins.” Renn reached into the bag and pulled out the coins they needed. “And as a special bonus for those who bought that here’s a shoulder piece for use outside the capital.” Then he dropped a piece of armor into Renn’s arms... it was quite heavy, but it had a distinct red stone in it. He saw that it could fit over his shoulder and put it on. Then he heard the bell ring once... “The feast is about to start! I need to get to the palace!”

Renn rushed down the street but was stopped by the guards at the gate. “I’m...a...friend... of Ryan’s... he invited me to dinner at the palace.” He was tired and trying to regain his breath. “Okay young sir, you may pass.” The guards lifted their lances and let Renn pass through the gate.

Renn met up with Ryan when he proceeded to the palace.

“The dining hall is this way, follow me.”
“Alright and thanks for inviting me.”
“No worries, my dad likes people enough.”

What a friggin coincidence. I named my first sword Gildra as well. in fact "Gildra" was the name that I first cameup with before deciding on Gildragon.

Chapter three

Ryan smiled and looked at Renn,

“So, why do you call yourself ‘Skye’ in public?”

“I’m known as Prince Ryan at the palace, but I’m only known as Skye outside the palace, I can change my appearance to prevent people from figuring out who I am, because most of the people of the kingdom don’t think highly of me or my father, the man who ‘stole’ the throne from king Gilian.”

“How can you change your appearance?”

“I’m skilled in the magical abilities like my dad, but only certain people can use magic. it can pass on, or it can appear in the most hopeless person at times. And I can sense that you can possibly use magic but you have yet to learn any spells, here.”

Ryan placed a green stone in Renn’s hand. “It contains three spells of the wind element. But it looks like you can only use one at the moment. I leave the rest for you to find out.”
Renn and Ryan walked to the palace and into a gigantic main hall where there were great staircases, beautiful, ornate windows and at the top of the center staircase was a beautiful young lady in a black dress and lace. She walked down and said:

“Hello welcome to the palace, I’m princess Anastasia.”

Renn stood tall and said:
“I’m Renn; I’m honored to be here.”

“I see that you are. Now please follow me to the dining hall.”
The three of them walked up the staircase and Renn blushed as he looked at Anastasia. They eventually came to a small hall with a decently long table set up for the king, the prince, the princess’ and possibly a couple guests. Renn took a seat beside Ryan and Anastasia and then princess Kristalacia walked in and took her seat beside Anastasia.

Then Renn heard the rhythmic tapping of a staff. Then he saw a man in a beautiful blue and black cloak with symbols of runes and alchemy shown in streaks of purple then as he passed Renn he noticed a distinct symbolic circle with symbols deriving from Japan in gold. His staff was silver with a golden hand holding what looked like a crystallized version of a fireball.
His skin was a light peach, and his hair was long and black, and his eyes were an eerie yellow. Like that of an owl’s. he had a blue shirt and black pants underneath the cloak and his shoes were golden knight’s boots.
His face was rather stern looking even though he was smiling, in Renn’s mind he thought: I know this is the man I must defeat. But I can sense his aura, plus I don’t even have a weapon, I can only use one spell but I don’t even know what that is... I think I must talk with Princess Krista.

“Welcome, Guest. Might I ask your name?” Samuel asked as he sat down at the table.
