YEAH!! NICE!!

Could I get a quick recap though, on who everyone is. (confused) Sorry, it's been a while.

I like the descriptions, and I like how everyone is working on getting better. The descriptions can slow up the pace though.

Good chapter. But I haven't read the rest in so long that I keep forgetting exactly who is who.

I liked the descriptions, but when you started talking about shoes, I got lost.

No problem. I will tell you who everyone so far is.

So far, Chris is basically the main character, his initial power was to make bullets do just about whatever he wanted them to but he discovered a new power which is to condense air into a solid mass for use as a shield or a weapon. He was recruited to help destroy te Zodiac by Isaac.

Isaac, so far as we know, tends to use yo-yos as weapons and was the leader of the Guild, but it was completely destroyed a few chapters ago. Now he has been training Chris for two months on controlling his new powers. Isaac also works cosely with two other members of the Guild named Enka and Kibo.

Kibo was the second member of the guild to appear before Chris and at first he appeared to be trying to kill him. He was only trying to remove a tracking device that the Zodiac had planted on him. Kibo's right eye is actually a sniper scope that gives him pinpoint accuracy. He only uses knives as weapons and somehow can make them appear from nowhere, except that it damages his body slightly. Recently he was forced to kill his little sister who used to be Cancer of the Zodiac, in this fight he also revealed the ability to very shortly stop time. He is now an ex-member of Zodiac, Sagittarius.

Enka is an enigma of sorts. He has no abilities to speak of. He is simply a modified human being. Also an ex-member of the Zodiac (Pisces), when fighting Aries, it apperead as though his arms were changed into robotic weapons during his time in the Zodiac. So far as we know, only his arms are made of the bulletproof black steel. Along with all the rest of the guys, to make it harder to be found, they had to change their appearance.

The Zodiac has shrunk drastically since the beginning of the story. Now only four members remain, unless they have managed to recruit replacements already. Leo, the leader, wears two katanas on his back in an "X" shape. He was spotted quite a few chapters ago chopping a man into 10 pieces in less than a second. Virgo, the second-in-command, has powers that are still a mystery to the four main guys. Capricorn, a young boy looking to be about Chris' age, has the ability to see the future in very vivid visions. It is unknown if he has more powers. Aquarius, last remaining, looks like a spitting image of Virgo only visibly a few years younger than her. Almost like a younger sister. Her powers are a complete and utter mystery.

Not only is today my birthday, but it's also 9 months to the day since i posted the first chapter of Brittle Bullet.

Sorry about the major delay on this chapter.
Suddenly it turned into a very busy week.

The four of them just sat silent for a few minutes. No one even so much as glanced at each other. The flourescent lights occasionally flickered in a somewhat distracting way. Something was bothering their leader, yet they didn't know what. He looked up and his eyes met with the person across him at the table. A telepathic message was conveyed between the two. Of course their leader didn't really realize it until he stood up. Leo stopped and stared at him again.

"Try not to put thoughts into their heads too much, Capricorn."

Brittle Bullet
Chapter 20: The Stars Collide

Aquarius sat smoking her cigarette. Her thoughts lingered on the governmant official she had shot only two days. I was off by only half a centimeter. Fuck, I'm losing my golden touch. Hair triggers suck ass. I liked my old scope better.

"It had a crack in the lense, stupid." Capricorn entered the room and sat around the corner of the table from Aquarius.
"Stay outta my head you little shit." She leaned forward and flicked the ash on the end of her cigarette directly onto Capricorn's shirt. "Just because you have crazy mental abilities doesn't mean you can go around barging into peoples' thoughts. Plus I liked that crack, I put it there."

Capricorn laughed and brushed the ash of off his shirt. "How can you smoke those things. They are disgusting. It's probably slowly killing you, too."

She simply let that comment slide. Leaning back into her chair she turned to face the wall of monitors. Scanning them one at a time, she remembered a small bit of information that Capricorn didn't have that she did.

"I've known that longer than you have actually," sneered Capricorn. "Much, much longer."
"Oh my god!!" She stood up so fast her chair flew backward and put a hole in the wall. "I'm going to beat the living shit out of you if you don't stop looking at my thoughts!!"

"Sorry, geez," he turned to look at the monitors now, too. "I'm just saying I have. Leo is worried because they know where our base of operations is. But he isn't worried because they still won't be able to kill any of us, despite the months of training they've had." Aquarius turned to the door. "Although, that young one might be able to kill you. Heh."
"OK, THAT"S THE LAST FUCKING STRAW YOU LITTLE PRICK!!" She turned and pulled a larged sniper rifle from a cupboard on the wall. She had the barrel against the back of his chair pointed directly at the center of his skull.

Then out of the corner of her eye she noticed his hand on the table. In his hand was a small case for a deck of cards. She hesitated and then slowly pulled the gun away.

He laughed slightly as she stormed from the room.

Virgo sat in her bedroom holding a small picture frame. The picture inside was a young man in his early twenties. A small tear formed on her bottom lid of her right eye. She wiped it away quickly.

"I know how much you miss him," said a voice as her door opened.
"Ah crap, Leo. You know how I hate it when you don't knock."
"I'm sorry," Leo sat down next to her on the bed. "Don't worry. As soon as our mission is done, you'll be able to see him again."
"You know he didn't call me today," tears began to form again. "He said last week that today he would give me another call."

Leo put his hand on her back and moved it gently up and down her spine. He giggled in a small and somewhat nervous way.

"What's so funny?" She looked straight into his face. Her blue eyes pierced his very soul, but not as deep as she thought.
"Do you know how many wounds I've healed with these hands of mine?"
"Yes, I do." Virgo looked at his left hand resting in between his knees. "It's quite an ability you have."

"Do you know that there is even more to it than healing?" Her eyes reconnected with his. She seemed confused by this sentence. "I can put them all back."

Without a seconds notice, Leo dug the fingers of his right hand into and around her spine. Suddenly, Virgo's body filled with years of pain worth of cuts, bruises, broken bones, and lost limbs. So much pain covered her every pore that her body went into immediate shock and... her heart stopped.

Virgo fell limp to the floor. Leo stood up and exited into the hallway. Someone was there to greet him. Large and covered with the biggest muscles known to man.

"So how'd it go?"
"Just fine. She is finally out of our hair."
"Can't wait to get revenge on that bastard for what he did last year."
"Dont worry my friend," Leo comforted this familiar man. "You are just one surprise in store for them"
"This plan is amazing."

Leo thought to himself, You don't know the half of it.

I like your thinking. But you also have to remember that Enka planted a small time bomb directly onto his stomach area which detonated about 20 seconds later. But who knows? Haha, that's half the fun.
