[HB!] Hanatori vs chaywa

The first round of Handicap Battles! - Semi-finals! Which GFXer will move on?
First Round

Participants: Hanatori, chaywa

Due date: 08/16/2006

Requirements:
- Theme: Anima
- Dimensions: 320 px (width) by 100 px (height)

Bans:
- Text of ANY kind. This includes subtext (even brushes)
- Textures (get creative!)

Reminders:
- Entrants will be given 72 hours (3 days) to post and edit their pieces.
- After the deadline (stated above), other members will be able to vote. The polls are open for 48 hours (2 days) after the initial deadline to non-entrants only. Hanatori and chaywa cannot vote, but are feel to say anything about the other piece. If you post before the deadline, your vote will not be counted.
- You must post at least three sentences about the piece you are voting for, and at least one sentence of constructive criticism for the other piece. Failure to comply will result in your vote not counting.

I think textures count as anything in filters>textures...

You guys SUCK.

To break the tie... I'm going to have to say that Hanatori gmv. I can actually see the stock in hers and the colors look wonderful. The renders are an excellent touch, and so is the dup. Chayway - I wish I knew where the stock was. ;-; The dup on the right doesn't do anything for me. ):
